Hola amigos de #Familyandfriends, es un gusto estar siempre por acá, aunque ya no tan seguido. Aunque me prometí volver, ¡escribir mi contenido me ayuda de muchas maneras! Hoy quiero contarles un poquito cómo fueron las consultas odontológicas de mis chiquitos.
Hello, friends of #Familyandfriends! It is always a pleasure to be here, even if it's not as often anymore. Although I promised myself I would come back, writing helps me in so many ways! Today I want to tell you a little bit about my little ones' dental appointments.
En el caso de Emita, es su segunda vez en consulta. La primera vez fuimos para que la tía le pusiera una pasta provisional que, bueno, le duró varios meses, pero ya le tocaba cambio. Además, terminó de limpiarle sus dientitos de adelante que estaban manchados desde que salieron, por cuestiones del medicamento que tomé embarazada; ¡creo que por acá comenté eso! En esta oportunidad se portó muy bien; permitió que su tía le hiciera la limpieza y la reparación de dos piezas, porque sí, la niñita produce caries de más, así que debo estar súper pendiente de ella. Estaba muy mona con esos lentes, jejeje, y al final se ganó un perrito de globo. 🥰🥰
In Emita's case, this is her second time at the clinic. The first time we went so her aunt could put in a temporary filling, which actually lasted for several months, but it was already time to replace it. Additionally, she finished cleaning her front teeth, which had been stained since they came in due to a medication I took while pregnant—I think I mentioned that here before! This time she behaved so well; she let her aunt do the cleaning and repair two teeth because, yes, this little girl gets too many cavities, so I have to keep a close eye on her. She looked so cute in those glasses, hehe, and at the end, she earned a balloon puppy. 🥰🥰
En el caso de mi muchachote, sí era su primera vez, y para nuestra sorpresa le fue EXCELENTE, ¡porque no tenía ni una caries! 🎊🎉 A pesar de que ambos comen dulces al mismo tiempo, jeje, y en todo caso él ha comido más que Ema por llevarle 4 años, jajaja. Pero bueno, ¡benditos sean sus dientes y que se mantengan así!
In the case of my big boy, it actually was his first time, and to our surprise, it went EXCELLENT because he didn't have a single cavity! 🎊🎉 Even though they both eat sweets at the same time, hehe, and in any case, he has eaten more than Ema since he is 4 years older, hahaha. But well, bless his teeth and may they stay that way!
A él solo le tocó limpieza, ¡y la tía le explicó la técnica correcta del cepillado! Obvio debo estar yo encima, jeje. Ah, y también que ya puede usar hilo dental. Es algo que yo no hacía con él, ¡pero desde la consulta comenzamos! Obvio, al final también tuvo su globito y estaba súper feliz. 🥰
He only needed a cleaning, and his aunt explained the correct brushing technique to him! Obviously, I have to stay on top of it, hehe. Oh, and also that he can start using dental floss now. That's something I hadn't been doing with him, but we started right after the appointment! Of course, he got his balloon at the end too and was super happy. 🥰
Por supuesto, que la tía sea la doctora es un punto a favor, jeje; ella los ama y ellos a ella, y obvio le hacen mucho caso. Además, ella es muy cariñosa. Es una bendición tener una odontóloga en la familia, 🥰🥰 pero esperemos no tener que asistir muy seguido por Emita, jeje.
Of course, having their aunt as the doctor is a huge plus, hehe; she loves them and they love her, and obviously, they listen to her a lot. Plus, she is very affectionate. It is such a blessing to have a dentist in the family, 🥰🥰 but let's hope we don't have to visit too often for Emita's sake, hehe.
