Hola amigos de #FamilyandFriends, espero que estén muy bien. Por acá tuvimos un amanecer que aún estamos procesando, ¡pero felices y aferrados a Dios para que se haga su voluntad! Mientras tanto, hay que hacer lo único que podemos controlar: ¡nuestra actitud! Y aprovecho para compartirles por acá un pequeño resumen de lo que fue mi mes de diciembre. 🥰
Hello #FamilyandFriends friends, I hope you are all doing very well. Over here, we had a sunrise that we are still processing, but we are happy and clinging to God so that His will be done! In the meantime, we must do the only thing we can control: our attitude! I’d like to take this opportunity to share a small summary of what my month of December was like. 🥰
Comenzamos con muchos actos navideños. Mi chiquita tuvo su primer baile donde fue la "Virgen Andina" y, como verán, se veía bellísima. Aunque al final los nervios le ganaron un poco, ella disfrutó su día ¡y su mami ahí estaba feliz apoyándola! Su papi no pudo estar porque estaba con Chris ese mismo día en su fiesta de fin de año, la cual también disfrutó bastante, aunque no se comió todo el plato navideño, jeje.
We started with many Christmas events. My little girl had her first dance where she was the "Andean Virgin" and, as you can see, she looked beautiful. Although she got a little nervous at the end, she enjoyed her day, and her mommy was right there happily supporting her! Her daddy couldn't be there because he was with Chris that same day at his end-of-the-year party, which he also enjoyed very much, even though he didn't eat his entire Christmas plate, hehe.
Luego vino la fiesta de Emita, donde estaba bellísima y gozó un mundo con sus maestras y amiguitos.
Then came Emita's party, where she looked gorgeous and had a blast with her teachers and friends.
También entrenamos bastante este mes. A pesar de ser el mes de la "comedera", ¡también entrenamos bastante! Y comimos torta 😂 porque celebramos el cumple de mi cuñada.
We also worked out a lot this month. Despite it being the month of "overeating," we also trained hard! And we ate cake 😂 because we celebrated my sister-in-law's birthday.
Obviamente también pusimos la Navidad, aunque este año solo en casa de mis padres, ¡porque yo no coloqué nada donde vivimos! Ayudé a mi mamá también a hacer las hallacas y los panes de jamón del 24 y 31.
Obviously, we also put up Christmas decorations, although this year only at my parents' house because I didn't put anything up where we live! I also helped my mom make the hallacas and the ham bread (pan de jamón) for the 24th and 31st.
También me pinté el cabello y, aunque no me agarró el color por completo, ¡me gustó!
I also dyed my hair and, although the color didn't take completely, I liked it!
Los niños pasaron un terrible virus, pero de eso les hablo un poco más en otro post. Solo puedo adelantar que fue horrible pero, para la gloria de Dios, ¡están perfectos hoy en día!
The kids caught a terrible virus, but I'll tell you a bit more about that in another post. I can only say it was horrible, but for God's glory, they are perfectly fine today!
Y para finalizar, celebramos la Navidad y el Año Nuevo en casa de mis padres y, aunque ya les he mostrado algunas cosas, debo darles más detalles 😂, pero sin duda fue un mes maravilloso porque siempre estuve rodeada de las personas que más AMO en el mundo. ❤️
And finally, we celebrated Christmas and New Year's at my parents' house, and although I've already shown you some things, I need to give you more details 😂, but it was undoubtedly a wonderful month because I was always surrounded by the people I LOVE most in the world. ❤️
