🌺 ¡Hola! ¡Hola! 🌺
¡EN GRATITUD INFINITA!
I swear I've been thinking about you guys for days, and the only reason I hadn't written to you is because I was waiting for Friday to post, according to the tips suggested for the community, about what has worked in my home and what ended up being a disaster. In the same way, I say THANK YOU! For recognizing my post, which I don't do for the prize, but because you “read my mind” in such a way that I can't resist stopping by to tell you, as sincerely as possible, about my experiences, life lessons, and what I've learned from my surroundings. WITH INFINITE GRATITUDE!
Now, I'll show you my contribution for the start of the weekend, when we promise ourselves we'll do those little jobs that, due to the dynamics of everyday life, we forget to do in our homes, but which are important for keeping them looking nice and making us feel good with their cleanliness and pleasant smells. I am a big consumer of Instagram content, and my mother is always sending me videos of cleaning tricks. The thing is, I buy the products, and they don't seem to be effective, or visually I feel like they're missing something, so homemade tricks are an alternative for me to achieve the cleanliness I want in my clothes or some corner of my home.

Shoe cleaning Something my mother taught me from an early age was to keep my shoes clean and spotless. When we went out, I remember having to look for our shoes in the yard because they were drying after she had cleaned them. Now, sneakers have become my favorite shoes, but I've let those cleaning rituals slide. It's not that I wear them dirty, but I would wipe them down with a sponge and maybe dust them off; however, they didn't get a deep cleaning and the soles were turning yellow. I saw this trick on Instagram and said, “I'll try it!” For this, we need: Toothpaste. Liquid detergent. Baking soda.
This last ingredient should be declared a WORLD HERITAGE SITE, because there is no cleaning and whitening recipe that doesn't include it 😊. I am very skeptical of all these ingredients, because it seems like more of an expense than anything else. Nevertheless, on a boring afternoon, I decided to try the ritual. The results? WHITE AS ADAMS GUM (that's how old I am 🤣). I didn't remember them being as clean and white as they turned out. The way to do it is to mix all the ingredients together to form a paste and apply it with a toothbrush over the entire surface; wait a few minutes and clean. Believe me, it works, it doesn't damage the surface of the sole, and they come out really white. I recommend it, and let me know how it goes 😉.

Cleaning joints With such beautiful results, I became addicted to the “recipes” offered by the social network, so I started spending and wasting products on tricks without positive results. One of these “miracle promises” focused on cleaning joints. In my bathroom, I think the cement has worn away and, due to use, they have turned black. No matter how much I clean the bathroom, it always looks black, and this prevents me from enjoying my bathroom visually, because I feel like it's STILL DIRTY! The remedy they offered me consists of: Liquid detergent. Hydrogen peroxide.
Results? Wasted products, sore knees and hips from crouching for so long, and joints that are just as dirty. The dirt didn't budge an inch. I don't know what I did wrong, because I saw other similar tutorials, which I imitated, and I didn't get any results. My grout is still the same, waiting for the recipe that will really restore its whiteness and cleanliness 💯. I also applied this to the tiles that are already stained by soap and I haven't been able to clean with anything, they always look dirty and sticky.

Hasta una nueva oportunidad 🌺
What I mean is that I had fun making the recipes; some turned out well and others didn't, I wasted some products, but don't say I didn't try. The idea is that these videos don't just sit there, but that we use them to improve the cleanliness of our homes. It would be very helpful if you could share your tips for cleaning grout, because I know that with this small change, my bathroom will look much better. The photographs are my property. The cover, the banner, and the separator were all made in Canva. The translator I used was DeepL. Until next time 🌺.
