Hola, mi gente bella de @homesolutions, es un gusto saludarlos en este día maravilloso en donde comienza una nueva semana llena de bendiciones para todos. En casa estamos superfelices con esta nueva adquisición de las que les vengo a comentar hoy.
Primero les hago un recuento de nuestra situación con este electrodoméstico tan esencial en cualquier hogar. Hace más de un año, después de mandar a reparar nuestra lavadora, dejó de funcionar y el técnico nos tenía en una espera angustiante y nunca venía; incluso le pagamos unas piezas y no las trajo.
El tiempo fue pasando y yo andaba lavando a mano o a veces iba a casa de mi mamá a lavar en su lavadora, que solo era lavar y lo demás era a mano. Así que a principios de año nos propusimos comprar una nueva.
Empezamos a ver en diferentes tiendas a ver cuál nos convenía; había de todos los tamaños, precios y marcas. También estábamos viendo los distintos tipos de financiamiento que había.
Como no teníamos para comprarla de contado, decidimos apartarla y así fue como en 3 meses poco a poco la fuimos pagando.
Hasta que por fin ya teníamos para hacer el último pago y así poder retirarla, más fino. El encargado me dijo que podían llevarla en dos días y que ya estaba en caja. Que ellos se comunicarían conmigo para la entrega. Lo bueno es que ya faltaba muy poquito para poder lavar en mi lavadora nueva.
El sábado era el día que tenían que traerla; no salimos de casa a la espera; llegó la tarde y nada. Me estaba preparando para ir al centro para preguntar qué había pasado, cuando me llega un mensaje, que el camión que hacía las entregas se había quedado accidentado, que pasarían días para que lo repararan, que si podía, lo fuera a buscar.
Así que nos alistamos y fui con el sobrino de mi esposo en la camioneta a buscarla en otra de las sucursales de las tiendas Genesis; la revisamos y el señor que nos atendió me dijo que tenía una lavadora de esas y que era muy buena.
En casa, mi esposo sacó la lavadora vieja y conectó la nueva. Estuve leyendo el manual de instrucciones y una de las cosas que decía era que la primera lavada era sin meterle ropa y así lo hice. La dejé reposar por un rato y estuve lavando hasta la madrugada, aprovechando el agua, porque aquí uno no sabe cuándo nos quedamos sin el vital líquido, jejeje.
Y bueno, amigos, esto era lo que les quería contar; la verdad que estamos muy contentos y esperamos seguir adquiriendo otras cosas para nuestro hogar. Gracias por visitar mi blog.
Happy with My New Washing Machine

First, let me give you a rundown of our situation with this essential household appliance. Over a year ago, after sending our washing machine in for repairs, it stopped working, and the technician kept us waiting anxiously and never showed up; we even paid him for some parts, but he never brought them.
Time went by, and I was washing by hand or sometimes going to my mom’s house to use her washing machine—which was only for the wash cycle, so the rest had to be done by hand. So at the beginning of the year, we decided to buy a new one.
We started looking at different stores to see which one suited us best; there were all sizes, prices, and brands. We were also looking into the different financing options available.
Since we couldn’t afford to buy it outright, we decided to put it on layaway, and that’s how, over three months, we gradually paid it off.
Until finally, we had enough to make the last payment and pick it up—what a relief. The manager told me they could deliver it in two days and that it was already packed up. They said they’d contact me for the delivery. The good news was that I was just a little bit away from being able to do laundry in my new washing machine.
Saturday was the day they were supposed to bring it; we stayed home waiting; the afternoon came and nothing happened. I was getting ready to go downtown to ask what had happened when I got a message saying that the delivery truck had been in an accident, that it would take days to repair it, and asking if I could go pick it up.
So we got ready, and I went with my husband’s nephew in the van to pick it up at another Genesis store location; we checked it out, and the man who helped us told me he had one of those washing machines and that it was very good.
At home, my husband took out the old washing machine and hooked up the new one. I was reading the instruction manual, and one of the things it said was that the first wash should be done without any clothes in it, so that’s what I did. I let it sit for a while and kept washing until the early hours of the morning, making the most of the water, because here you never know when we’ll run out of that precious liquid, hehehe.
