I have taken facial care very seriously, because I understand that the years do not pass in vain and with so much environmental damage to which we are exposed daily, it is common for our faces to look tired and even dirty, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
It has been very difficult for me to know exactly what I need and where to go because, of course, I have seen people talking about niacin or vitamin C, or rose water routines, and yes, it all sounds very nice, but when I see the wall at Farmatodo, I have no idea what to buy; so it becomes frustrating and alarming.
However, one thing I do know is that I like to keep my face clean and that feeling at the end of the day when I put on my creams and feel my face truly clean and cool, ready to rest 😊.
So with that in mind and a tight budget, I went to see what was available on the market.

Para mí se me ha hecho muy difícil saber exactamente qué es lo que necesito y a dónde acudir porque, claro que los he visto hablando de niamicina o vitamina C, o rutinas de agua de rosas, y sí, todo suena muy bonito, pero cuando veo la pared de Farmatodo, no tengo ni idea de qué comprar; entonces eso se vuelve frustrante y alarmante. Sin embargo, algo que sí sé es que me gusta mantener mi rostro limpio y esa sensación al final del día cuando me coloco mis cremas y siento mi rostro verdaderamente limpio y frío, listo para descansar 😊. Pues con eso en mente y un presupuesto ajustado, me fui a buscar qué había en el mercado.

Reading the specifications, I was convinced by the part that says “cleanses pores.” I don't wear a lot of makeup, but I understand that skin gets dirty with everything, EVEN WATER! And when I wipe my face with a cotton pad, I'm amazed that sometimes it comes out brown 🤢. I've noticed that my skin has open pores, many of which have been there for years. I feel like they're more noticeable now, so whenever I look for a product, I like to choose something that targets pores and their removal.
How does it feel? Very good. I feel like it cleanses my face, leaving it soft and ready for the next cleansing step.

Últimamente he buscado todo lo de la marca Farmatodo porque siento que los productos son de buena calidad y se ajustan a lo que dice el bolsillo. Leyendo las especificaciones, me convenció la parte de que "limpia los poros"; yo no soy de mucho maquillaje, pero entiendo que la piel se ensucia con todo ¡HASTA CON EL AGUA!, y cuando paso el algodón, me asombro de que en oportunidades sale marrón 🤢. Yo me he dado ccuenta de que mi piel tiene poros abiertos, muchos de ellos desde hace años; siento que ahora se notan más, por eso siempre que busco un producto, me gusta elegir algo que se refiera a los poros y su eliminación. ¿Cómo lo siento? Muy bien. Siento que me limpia el rostro, me lo deja suave y preparado para el siguiente paso limpiador.
This brand has two options: it's relatively new, or I hadn't seen it before, but now I come across it on every shelf I visit. So, I decided to stop and read what they had for facial care.
I could have chosen many, but focusing on what I needed, I liked what this charcoal soap offers, which, by the way, is very trendy for its action on the face and added ingredients.
Did I like it? Yes and no. At first, everything was wonderful, I felt that my skin was truly clean and soft. I noticed a little clarity, but as the days went by, it seemed to lose its effect; it doesn't lather and becomes rough when you rub it, so I end up damaging my skin with the friction. Also, because it's charcoal, it stained my entire sink, but nothing that can't be easily cleaned. It's up to each person to decide whether to use it or not.
I bought the other soap in that line, which is white, and threw it away after a few days because it doesn't clean properly.
Barra limpiadora - Zoah
Esta marca tiene dos opciones: es relativamente nueva, o no la había visto; pero ahora me los topo en cada anaquel que visito. Por ello, me atreví a detenerme para leer qué tenían para el cuidado del rostro. Pude escoger muchos, pero enfocada en lo que necesitaba, me gustó lo que ofrece este jabón de carbón, que por cierto está muy de moda por su acción en el rostro y los ingredientes agregados.
¿Me gustó? Sí y no. Al inicio, todo maravilloso, sentí que verdaderamente la piel me quedaba limpia y suave. Noté un poco de claridad, pero con el pasar de los días, como que fue perdiendo el efecto; no hace espuma y deslizarlo se vuelve áspero, por lo que maltrato la piel con la fricción. Además, por ser carbón, manchó todo mi lavabo, pero nada que no se limpie fácilmente. Queda a criterio de cada quien si lo usa o no. Les cuento que compré el otro jabón de esa línea, que es blanco, y lo deseché a los días, porque no limpia como debe ser.
Obviously, talking about this brand is on another level. Its effectiveness and genuine treatment for the face makes it one of the favorites in facial care. I didn't buy it, but was given it as a gift some time ago. However, as I didn't have an established routine, I had let it go. I don't know if I'm applying it correctly or if there are other specific serums, but I think this one does the job.
How do I feel? Excellent. After cleansing, I apply it and my skin feels toned, I feel it's “firm” and I like that; for a few seconds I see myself without lines or sagging. GREAT!
Serúm retinol - Cerave
Obviamente, hablar de esta marca es otro nivel. Su eficacia y verdadero tratamiento en el rostro lo hace uno de los preferidos en el cuidado del rostro. Yo no lo compré, sino que me lo regalaron hace tiempo, pero por no tener una rutina establecida, lo había dejado pasar. No sé si lo estoy aplicando correctamente o si hay otros sérums específicos, pero creo que este hace el trabajo. ¿Cómo me siento? Excelente. Después de limpiar, lo aplico y mi piel se tonifica, la siento como "dura" y eso me gusta; por segundos me veo sin líneas o flácida ¡GENIAL!
This is the final step (along with the eye cream I mentioned previously), and I finish my routine with circular massages, leaving my skin clean and moisturized.
How do I feel? Great, because I love its texture and scent, and I feel like my face looks good, fresh, and soft. I don't know if it's the standard routine or the one my face needs, but it must have some effect 😊.
Crema - Pond's
Es el paso final (en conjunto con la crema del contorno de ojos de la que he hablado en otra oportunidad) y cierro mi rutina con masajes circulares, limpia e hidratada. ¿Cómo me siento? Superbien porque su textura y olor me encantan y siento que mi rostro se ve bien, queda fresco y suave. No sé si es la reglamentaria o la necesaria para mi rostro, pero algo de efecto debe hacer 😊.
In summary, taking care of ourselves should be an act of love for our skin that we must cultivate from a young age in order to maintain a healthy face. Perhaps this advice came a little late for me, but I am already taking the necessary steps to help heal my skin.
