It's been a little bit since our posts stopped paying HBD. It's not necessarily a good thing, but given the situation I find it's best to look at opportunities instead of focusing on the negative.
The biggest positive is we're getting more HIVE and HP paid out. If we want HBD instead, it's simple enough to convert this. For those like me who are powering up, this helps us achieve this even faster. I'm always looking to grow my HP, so I've been even more aggressively powering up.

Just like this mech suit with its massive, charging energy cannon, I'm aggressively powering up. In addition to what I'm automatically receiving from post rewards, I'm powering up half of the liquid HIVE I receive from posts.
This is one of my last payouts as an example.
In addition to the 25 HP that was staked, I took another 12.5 of the liquid HIVE I received and powered it up. That means a total of a little over 37.5 HIVE powered up from a single post. Not every post will pay out that well, but if I keep up this trend I can significantly increase my HP while HIVE is cheap.
At this rate, I should be able to hit about 600-700 HP a month, or about 7500 HP for the year. Every little bit adds up, and I believe it'll pay off over time.
