Yea, once bitten twice shy. I have also been there once, I judged an emloyee wrongly, this guy will come to work ,finish bailing materials and lie down to rest. So I always see him laying down so I assumed he is lazy.

One day, I went to the cotrol room to meet the IT guy so,while there, he was doing a playback and backing up data. I saw this same emoyee bailing as early as 6:30am(WAT) and I asked him to gently replay that part, that was when I found out that he do come early to bail all the materials for production and then lie down to rest. I felt bad about how I have judged him. Called him to reward him. That encounter changed my perspective about first impression.

I no longer judge but allow some time to reveal the true character of the person.
