For Lagos state, I'll say yes, because it has been able to bring about some form of development and infrastructure that no other state can boost of.
Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
All state get budget and allowances, not all are using it for the right thing.
So I can't help but think, the tax is one of what's been used to implement those projects.

The question now is, would that be replicate in the country as a whole?
If not, then they should let us be.
