At least such a thing never happened with me. I usually don't call anyone but whenever we call we have heart to heart conversation. If they are busy, they just say they are busy and I also say the same if I am busy. In my case friends has nothing to do with the change social status. We may not give them the time like earlier days but it should not after the friendship.
