There are some acts I have done that I regret so much, and anytime those thoughts flash through my memory, I feel very bad about myself. There are some embarrassing moments that, whenever I think about them, I frown deeply and wish such things had never happened. Sometimes, whenever I see certain people, the thoughts of these embarrassing moments flash through my mind and I just get a knock on my head.
What if there's a market where I could trade these memories for money so I don't get to remember them again? If a market like that actually exists, I would love to go for it.
Although people say that it's these memories both the sweet and bitter ones that make life interesting, I feel life is very short for us to dwell on thoughts and memories that weigh us down whenever we think about them. People also say that we learn from these memories because they're good teachers but I feel one can have a rosy life all through their lifestyle and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that...take a look at those born with a silver spoon
The best part of selling these memories is that I'll use the money to sort out financial needs. So it's not just getting those memories out of my brain, but also using the money for something.
For the good memories, of course, I won't sell them. These memories are like food that nourishes my body. I treasure good memories a lot, that's why I derive joy in saving photos of me, friends and family, but with time I'm going to look at those photos and smile. So yeah, I'm not going to sell the good memories.
Won't there be a repercussion?
I have thought of this.
The buyers of these memories, won't they use them against us? Yeah, it's very possible because for memories to be tradable, it means there's something it's being used for. What if such uses of those memories will hurt us?
