Fire disaster

Natural disasters have become a very common phenomenon in our world today, and it’s quite surprising because, in this modern age, measures should have been put in place to prevent them from happening. But I think they still occur because there’s a reason they are called natural disasters. Sometimes, we try our best to prevent them, but they still happen regardless. Nevertheless, we need to keep trying our best because if left unattended, their occurrences will become rampant and even more disastrous.

I have heard of so many natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, and others, and I have witnessed some too. However, the only one I have personally experienced is fire. My city of residence and hometown are not prone to floods or earthquakes, but when it comes to fire outbreaks, they happen quite often.

There was one that occurred in my hometown some years ago. It was during the dry season when bushes are constantly being burnt left, right, and center. Most times, the fire starts as a result of people hunting animals in the bush, while in some cases, it begins due to the careless acts of smokers.
It was evening when we suddenly heard shouts and noises from people about a burning house. Fear took over everyone, and we were all hoping that no one was trapped in the house because that would mean the loss of lives.

Upon getting to the scene, fortunately, no one was trapped inside. But unfortunately, the house, a building that was still under construction and located close to the bush, was completely razed by the fire.
The house already had a roof and ceiling, and I couldn’t stop imagining the kind of pain and heartbreak the owner of the house would be going through.

There were a lot of discussions about how the fire entered the building because, even though the surrounding bushes were burning, one would expect the blocks of the house to act as repellents. But it was what it was.

How to prevent such a fire disaster?

It’s very simple. Regulations should be made and strictly enforced to ensure that hunters are prohibited from using the method of burning bushes for hunting.

Thanks!

The worst part is that wherever there's a fire disaster, it's rare that the victims are able to get any left over property. Everything turns to ashes unlike flood

Yes, that's true.
This one, it was total meltdown but it's good that no life was lost

That's the only good news about a fire disaster

Hre we have a lot of wild fires as well...and it gets uncontrolled!

It happens a lot on Nigeria too.

Thanks

Fire disaster happens mostly in dry season when all the leaves are dry it burns fast and it may affect houses near the bush

Yes.
During dry season, we are to be vigilant especially for those living in bushy areas.
Thanks
