Before I publish the daily posts on @YourFairy and @CryptoCompany, I don’t want to mess up the order, so now I’d like to present the first part of my audiobook "Wake Up" to the public.
Since I already spoke of an “audiobook” yesterday... The feedback I received actually described my work much more fittingly as a “cinematic audiobook” or a “movie without visuals.” Listeners were quite surprised, because the term “audiobook” made them expect something much simpler. I’ll run another round of market research to find the most accurate term for works like this...
And since I asked for a few test listeners yesterday and already received some excellent feedback, I now want to release the first part. But before we get to the play button, just a few words...
Over the last hours, I’ve received recurring feedback that led me to make a decision – and I’ve already set it in motion: I will not publish every part for free on the Hive blockchain.
Instead, I’ve decided to reactivate my Patreon account and publish all episodes (along with a few extra goodies) there.
From time to time, I’ll still make parts available here (& via my Spotify podcast) for free listening. But the complete series, with all episodes, will only be available on Patreon.* The monthly membership there is set at a low $5 per month. Considering the quality of the production, the content itself, and the effort behind it, I think to use Patreaon is very fair. If you’d like, you can of course support me with a higher amount and receive some extras in return – that’s entirely up to you.

According to my first listeners and critics, this content is worth far more than just being available for 7 days of voting to end up making $4. Moreover, that approach would undermine my ability to even keep producing this content in the first place. And with all humility, I basically agree with that assessment.
Possibly:
... I may set up a payment option for HIVE, HBD, and/or HE tokens like CCD – but that’s something for the future.

Bevor ich das tägliche Posting bei @YourFairy und @CryptoCompany veröffentliche, möchte ich die Reihenfolge nicht durcheinanderbringen und nun der Öffentlichkeit den ersten Teil meines Audiobuchs "Wake Up" vorstellen.
Da ich gestern bereits von "Audiobuch" gesprochen habe... Das Feedback, welches mich erreicht hat, hat mein Werk aber viel passender als "Cinematic Audiobook" oder "movie without visuals" betitelt und war total überrascht, weil man sich unter "Audiobuch" etwas anderes, simpleres vorgestellt hat. Ich werde nochmal eine Marktanalyse starten, um selbst die treffendste Bezeichnung für solche Werke zu finden...
Und nachdem ich gestern nach ein paar Testhörern gefragt habe und bereits sehr gutes Feedback erhalten habe, möchte ich den ersten Teil nun freigeben. Bevor wir aber zum Play-Button kommen, noch ein paar Worte...
Ich habe in den letzten Stunden mehrfach entsprechende Rückmeldung erhalten und einen Entschluss gefasst - und bereits eingeregelt: ich werde nicht jeden Teil kostenlos auf der Hive Blockchain veröffentlichen.
Statt dessen habe ich mich entschlossen, meinen Patreon-Account wieder zu reaktivieren und dort alle Episoden (und ein paar weitere Goodies) zu veröffentlichen.
Immer wieder werde ich auch hier (bzw. über meinen Spotify-Podcast) einen Teil zum kostenlosen Konsum zur Verfügung stellen. Die vollständige Serie mit allen enthaltenen Teilen jedoch nur über Patreon.* Die monatliche Mitgliedschaft dort, ist mit 5 USD pro Monat günstig gehalten. Die Qualität der Produktionen, aber auch der Inhalt und der Aufwand dahinter sollten die Nutzung von Patreon durchaus rechtfertigen. Wenn du magst, kannst du natürlich auch mit einem höheren Betrag unterstützen und damit damit auch ein paar Extras erhalten. Das bleibt dir überlassen.

Dieser Inhalt ist laut Aussage meiner ersten Hörer und Kritiker weitaus mehr Wert, als für 7 Tage zum voten zur Verfügung zu stehen, um damit am Ende 4 USD zu verdienen. Weiterhin würde dieses Schema die Fähigkeit untergraben, diesen Inhalt überhaupt produzieren zu können. Und bei aller Bescheidenheit, welche ich inne habe, stimme ich dem im Grunde zu.
