Un gran anuncio fue lanzado alrededor de todo el país, un concurso de talentos daría inicio y el premio era $1,500,000. Todos acudieron al casting, desde los mas pequeños hasta los mas ancianos. Debido a la crisis que había surgido en todos lados, un premio como este seria la salvación para cualquiera y tuvieras talento o no todos ansiaban ese premio.
Brooks había llegado desde un pueblo lejano, sus padres estaban muy enfermos y se vio en la necesidad de intentar luchar por este premio. El era un joven talentoso pero era muy tímido por lo que prefería mantener su talento escondido, pero ante esta necesidad decidió intentarlo.
Al llegar al lugar tuvo que hacer una cola inmensa mientras hacían las audiciones, en la fila se encontraba un joven que le hizo conversación, esta persona era Scout. Este joven era parte de una banda conocida por todos e intimidaba su sola presencia ya que es muy buen musico. Sin embargo, al hablar Brooks pudo darse cuenta que era una persona tranquila y humilde, lo que lo hacia impotente era su gran talento, por lo que Brooks se sintió desaminado al no poderse comparar con tremendo referente.
Luego de varias horas el casting finalizo, afortunadamente Brooks y Scout pasaron a la otra ronda. Los citaron a todos en dos días para continuar con el proceso, Brooks no tenia donde quedarse mientras esperaba los 2 días pero Scout se ofreció a darle hospedaje, estos dos se habían vuelto cercanos por su amor a la música, así que aceptó.
Luego de los dos días, ambos jóvenes se acercaron al lugar y habían varias personas ya, aunque les sorprendió que no eran muchos los seleccionados, solo 24 personas entre las miles de personas que audicionaron lograron pasar a este día, algo dentro de Brooks se puso feliz al darse cuenta que su talento fue reconocido.
Entre los clasificado una joven llamo su atención y es que su belleza era fuera de lugar, su porte era de pura clase, cuando todos comenzaron a presentarse, la joven dijo su nombre, era Jackie.
Los organizadores comunicaron que iban a hacer una especia de torneo musical, que la audiencia elegiría al ganar de cada lucha y de esta forma empezó el programa.
Jackie no tuvo ningún problema en avanzar, el publico la amaba y era extremadamente talentosa, tuvo varias batallas y llego a la final sin problema alguno, lo que si pudieron percatarse es que era muy callada pero segura, se expresaba bien y su voz era suave, tenia le paquete completo y por eso los jueces también siempre la elogiaban.
Scout también lo tuvo bastante fácil, al ser una persona reconocida y con el talento de sobra. Su base de fans lo hizo llegar a la final de forma arrasadora en los votos.
Para Brooks fue algo mas difícil, cuando fue su primera batalla debía presentarse al publico y tartamudeo mucho, se escucharon algunas risitas de ver lo nervioso que estaba, sin embargo, cuando empezó a entonar su instrumento las risas se acabaron y todos lo observaron mudos, al ver semejante talento innato, ya que era de un pueblo y nunca tuvo estudios, todo era por oído, era un prodigio musical.
Con cada ronda iba ganando publico, hubo un par de luchas que casi pierde pero al final logro llegar a la final.
La final era entre estos 3 personajes, el publico estaba realmente divido, la gente no sabia a quien apoyar. Cuando empezaron a tocar sus instrumentos, de cierta forma los 3 se complementaron y comenzó una música inédita entre los 3, era una melodía angelical decían los jueces.
Los jueces propusieron que no debía haber un ganador, sino que debía formarse un nuevo grupo con estos 3 talentosos artistas, el publico estuvo de acuerdo y de esta forma, estos talentosos artistas formaron el mejor grupo musical de la historia.
Brooks logro salir de su pequeño pueblo y ayudar a sus padres, dándoles las mejores comodidades y formo una increíble amistad con Scout y Jackie.
A big announcement was broadcast across the country, a talent contest was about to begin, and the prize was $1,500,000. Everyone attended the audition, from the youngest to the oldest. Due to the crisis that had erupted everywhere, a prize like this would be a lifeline for anyone, and whether you had talent or not, everyone coveted it.
Brooks had come from a distant town; his parents were very sick, and he felt the need to try to win this prize. He was a talented young man but very shy, so he preferred to keep his talent hidden, but faced with this need, he decided to give it a try.
When he arrived at the venue, he had to wait in a long line while the auditions were held. In the line, a young man struck up a conversation with him. This person was Scout. This young man was part of a well-known band, and his mere presence was intimidating because he was a very good musician. However, as Brooks spoke, he could tell he was a quiet and humble person, but what made him powerless was his great talent, so Brooks felt discouraged at not being able to compare himself to such a tremendous role model.
After several hours, the casting call ended, and fortunately, Brooks and Scout moved on to the next round. They were all scheduled to meet in two days to continue the process. Brooks didn't have a place to stay while he waited the two days, but Scout offered to host him. These two had become close over their love of music, so he accepted.
After two days, both young men approached the venue and there were already several people there. Although they were surprised that not many were selected; only 24 people out of the thousands who auditioned made it to that day. Something inside Brooks was happy to realize his talent was recognized.
Among the qualifiers, a young woman caught his eye. Her beauty was out of place, her bearing pure class. When everyone began to introduce themselves, the young woman announced her name: Jackie.
The organizers announced they were going to hold a sort of musical tournament, with the audience choosing the winner of each fight, and so the show began.
Jackie had no trouble advancing; the audience loved her and she was extremely talented. She had several battles and reached the finals without any problem. What they could tell was that she was very quiet but confident, articulate, and her voice was soft. She had the complete package, which is why the judges always praised her.
Scout also had it fairly easy, being a well-known person with plenty of talent. His fan base swept him to the finals.
For Brooks, it was a bit more difficult. During his first battle, he had to introduce himself to the audience, and he stuttered a lot. There were a few giggles from how nervous he was. However, when he began to play his instrument, the laughter died down, and everyone stared at him in silence. He was from a small town and never studied. It was all by ear. He was a musical prodigy.
With each round, he gained an audience. There were a couple of fights he almost lost, but in the end, he made it to the finals.
The finals were between these three characters. The audience was truly divided; people didn't know who to support. When they began to play their instruments, the three of them somehow complemented each other, and a unique musical sound began between the three of them. It was an angelic melody, the judges said.
The judges proposed that there shouldn't be a winner, but that a new group should be formed with these three talented artists. The audience agreed, and thus, these talented artists formed the greatest musical group in history.
Brooks managed to leave his small town and help his parents, giving them the best comforts and forming an incredible friendship with Scout and Jackie.
