She ran away with my money

in The Comedy Club18 days ago

Friday last week, I had already retired to bed when I heard a call and a knock on my window. It was an unfamiliar feminine voice.

"Who's that?" I asked, my voice mixed with anger and curiosity. It was almost 10pm.

"It's the lady that gave you clothes last month. I'm so sorry to disturb you tonight. I would have waited to come tomorrow, but I want to travel this night, that’s why I am here. I came several times but didn’t meet you, and I didn’t have your number," she replied. I quickly recalled who she was, a new customer who had brought her clothes to my laundry shop. Ever since then, she left without remembering to come for her clothes and we didn't exchange contact that day.

Also, my living house is close to my workplace, so most of the people come to my house if they need me urgently and I'm not in the shop.

When I came out, we walked to the shop. I gave her the clothes when it was time for her to pay, her network began to misbehave. My kind nature made me let her go, with the understanding that she would make the payment when she got home or had a better network. Yes, we exchanged numbers.

Guys, till today, this lady has not paid, and she’s not saying anything.

This lady is beautiful, very fair, with an innocent face. She doesn’t look like someone who would behave like an 'agbero' by running away with my money. This isn't the case of she not having the money or the thought of passing through a lot due to the tough situation of the country. She's just being irresponsible.

I've messaged her many times, she doesn't reply, not even to tell me "hold on, I'm sorting the money". She just snubs.

I can let go of the money but I'm very sure of catching her one day and it's going to be embarrassing for her. I can cook a plan to lure her to a place and use police to arrest her.

Thanks for reading.
