this week's topic:
Destiny - Do you believe in destiny? Do you believe everything is already written, or do we shape our future? Why?
Destiny is said to mean that every thing about someone is written how it will happen and when it will happen.
I don't believe in destiny because it makes people feel that whatever that happens in their life is how their God want it even if what happened was as a result of their bad choice or bad decisions. It make them too not to take responsibility for what they did because it was destined to be so.
Everything about how one will live, and die or who will be rich or poor is not written. Even the holy Scripture where we read some stories about what was written for someone that will happen later change because of the person attitude or decisions he took. I will give 2 example, one written and it happened and one written and it didn't happen.
Hezekiah was sick and about to die, Even when he asked, he was told that he will die, he cried and reminded God good things he had done and the destiny was change and 15 years was added for him. If has agreed to die, he would have died as was told.
Abraham was told that the whole world will bless themselves through his offspring and it happened because of his faith.
All out down here is my opinion not condescending another person opinion. It is all about destiny if one believe in it or not . In as much as I don't believe in it, I am not criticizing anyone who believes in destiny.
