Hello good people of hive, Hope you all are doing great. Wishing you all the best of the new month. I am so happy to be part of this contest especially today 1st of June. This is the most I was born on this earth and this week contest is reminding me so many troubles that visited me and how I handled them both in positive and negative ways. So let's get it done, I emplore you to read along as I share with you my personal stories.
This week's topic:
The Now - How easy is it for you to accept your present moment? Was there a time in your life when you found it difficult to accept the present moment you were living in? What things have helped you feel good about your present moment, even when you're going through a difficult time?
How easy it is for me to accept my present moment.
Before now, I'm one person that things bother so much that I will cry days, weeks before I will let go. Sometimes I wonder what I did so wrong that I have to suffer what I'm suffering until I learned that some challenge is like weather, no matter how hard you try, you can't change it but to live with it. One of those problem was my leg challenge which has lasted for 35 years now. I love in pain every second of my life because of it. To me, it doesn't exist, I live my happy life as if nothing is happening to me. Some of my clients do think, I don't have problems that is why I smile and encourage them to be strong. Right now, I look at problem as a visitor , it won't stay forever.
Was there a time in your life when you found it difficult to accept the present moment you were living in?
That was 20 years ago when life became so clear to me that, although married, I'm single. I thought I won't be able to care for my children all alone. My business then collapsed that I have to do some mininal jobs to survive with my kids. I couldn't believe that I was the one doing it but one day, God spoke to me through my first Son, who told me that, a lot widows are surviving in the society, I should count myself as one and gaze what, I am stronger each day to face my life. Anyone who is close to me draw positive energy from me to survive any situation he or she is facing. No one will believe that I'm doing everything all alone.
What things have helped you feel good about your present moment, even when you're going through a difficult time?
Smile and laugh is contagious, positivity and negativity is also contagious. I choosed to make myself happy. I am always busy with my work, my hive life, helping others that I don't have dull moment in my life. I have learned to be busy and have at the same time. I have also learn how to forgive myself when I'm wrong or down and move on. I do take myself out and hang out with myself. It sounds so funny but it is real. I read a lot to keep my brain active. I have my regular exercise that I do before bedtime or as I woke up. I massage my brain regularly to remove toxic thinking from it. I keep quality and experienced friends around me. I ask for help when I need help, I don't isolate myself . I help people to be happy. With all this, I can ensure you that, difficult times can be managed with positive view.
In all, we can't run away from difficult times but how we handled it will make hard on us or easier on us. It is good to train ourselves when things are okay so that we can endure when this change.
