RE: Why Do People Abuse Power? #QC Community Contest # 177.

in QC Communityyesterday

Some voters don't care if their leader is corrupt as long as they get personal benefits. They might get money, jobs, or favors in return for their vote. This is why bad leaders keep getting elected.
Until people start thinking about the common good instead of personal gain, we will continue to see power-hungry leaders in office. Change starts with us.

Yep, totally agree with this. But not sure if people will change, I think they care more about seeing that their "enemies" don't win than understanding that everything affects us all in one way or another.

Agree with you, but Change is a process and will not happen overnight. It requires collective effort. If we want real improvement, we need to teach our younger generation to think beyond personal gains. We must develop leaders who care about their community, not just themselves. This starts at home and in schools. By teaching strong values today, we can create responsible leaders for tomorrow.
