Sometimes the perfect Sunday looks suspiciously simple.
In the morning, you come up with an ambitious plan called Doing Nothing (All Day). You grab water and sandwiches, open a map, find the nearest beach, and switch to OK, let’s see how it goes mode. And it unfolds exactly as it should: slow, lazy, with absolutely no reason to rush.

The beach greets you with complete indifference — and that’s its greatest strength. No one expects anything, nothing demands your attention. At most, the sun gently suggests it’s time to roll over.

At some point, you catch yourself realizing you can lie there longer than planned. Turns out, that’s a skill too — one that requires regular practice.

Then everything settles into a simple rhythm: a swim, a stretch on the sand, something to eat. Back into the water — and the cycle repeats, never quite feeling like a routine.

You don’t want to get out, but you’re not quite ready to stay forever either. The perfect balance between just five more minutes and alright, one more time later.

By evening, everything falls into place: the plan worked. You did nothing — and did what you needed to do. And maybe that’s exactly what a Proper Sunday Escape looks like. ☀️

Thank you for stopping by!
