As I was leaving that last morning, I was approached about buying some of the supplements I'd been being dosed with while in the chair being infused. Mainly

The understanding of the molecular and cellular basis of aging has grown exponentially over recent years, and it is now accepted within the scientific community that aging is a malleable process; just as it can be accelerated, it can also be slowed and even reversed.
This has far-reaching implications for our attitude and approach toward aging, presenting the opportunity to enter a new era of cellular regenerative medicine to not only manage the external signs of aging but also to develop therapies that support the body to repair and restore itself back to a state of internal well-being.
A wealth of evidence now demonstrates that a decline in cellular nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a feature of aging and may play a role in the process.
NAD+ plays a pivotal role in cellular metabolism and is a co-substrate for enzymes that play key roles in pathways that modify aging.
Thus, interventions that increase NAD+ may slow aspects of the aging trajectory, and there is great interest in methods for cellular NAD+ restoration.
Given these recent advancements in understanding the cellular aging process, it is important that there is an integration between the basic scientists who are investigating the underlying mechanisms of cellular aging and the surgeons and aesthetic practitioners who are providing antiaging therapies.
This will allow the effective translation of this vastly complex area of biology into clinical practice so that people can continue to not only stay looking younger for longer but also experience improved health and wellness.

What I somehow missed and they are insisting I was made aware, is that so far,

No US Dr or facility will administer this IV med to me! 😱

because they say it is:
A. not FDA approved for the therapy I recieved (Lungs)
B. you can purchase NAD+ here
C. those Dr's and facilities that WILL do the IV therapy, only if I purchase it from them
I cannot tell you how much this has stressed me out. Calling and inperson visits with my PCP who says "I cannot prescribe this because it isn't FDA approved"

So in America, medicine now equates to
A .diagnosis based on the patients DESCRIPTIONS of their Symptoms
B. throwing medications at the patient in hopes that one will fix the symptoms
C. Hoping those medication benefits will outweigh the probable side effects of that medication
D. who cares about the cost of that medication?

My Civilian PCP suggested I check with "Functional Medicine" practitioners

What Does a Functional Medicine Doctor Do?
Functional medicine doctors look at your full history to identify the root causes of an illness. They collect detailed information about the disease and your overall lifestyle. Functional medicine doctors often spend more time with their patients in order to get all the information they need.
A functional medicine doctor may ask you about:

A timeline of symptoms
Sleep patterns
Exercise habits
Nutrition
Stressors
Personal relationships
Emotional well-being
Then, they come up with a treatment plan to manage the many factors that may be contributing to your chronic condition. Unlike traditional doctors, who might prescribe prescription medicine or surgical procedures as the main treatment, functional medicine doctors often first look to improve things like diet, exercise, sleep, and stress reduction. Of course, if there is an immediate medical need, your functional medicine doctor can also prescribe medication and recommend conventional medical procedures.

So I looked and found one who DID offer IV Infusion therapy, even had NAD+ offered.
BUT it cost $400 just to walk in the door and meet the Dr, and they would not TOUCH the NAD+ I had gotten from the Clinic in Tijuana
I am stymied at every turn

In part one
I had told of my joking remark about the yellow stuff, that I had not PEED in a bag for them. I couldn't remember what it was called.
Myers Cocktail

The Myers' cocktail is a popular formula among complementary and alternative medicine providers for IV vitamin therapy.

The Myers' formula consists of high doses of B vitamins, vitamin C, and minerals (magnesium and calcium) mixed with sterile water.

Dr. John Myers developed and administered the first IV vitamin treatments in Baltimore in the 1970s.

Any vitamin or mineral can be infused intravenously, and some doctors who administer the infusion have changed the amounts of the vitamins in the Myers' cocktail (this is called the modified Myers' cocktail). Some doctors have also individualized doses for frail older adults and children.

I felt incredibly good after I got home and rested from the journey etc, which lasted about 4 days.
I still feel I am breathing better, but I know that NAD+ was making a big difference

↑That is the location of the clinic in Tijuana
Meanwhile, life goes on

After I got home, I replaced the bottom in this raised bed I'd been given

Loaded in Soil

Planted Marigold and Strawberries

Only to have something (probably squirrels) dig it all up that first night

So now, my veggie garden is a fortress

Which makes it more difficult for me getting in and out

But I have poblano already

And squash coming on

"Jerry, I cannot imagine the frustration and helplessness you must feel navigating the medical system. I was trained by the same system, so I know. Especially conventional treatments aren't working for you. It's infuriating and demoralizing to feel like you're being dismissed or ignored by the very system that's supposed to help you. Your feelings are valid, and your experiences are real. Sending you love, understanding, and a big virtual hug."

Thank you @drceeyou ,I deeply appreciate that 💚

You're welcome

This is really private...

Are you sure you want this out here?

I share aspects of my life and health, hoping to show others that there IS hope.
I can't see how anyone can get info that could harm me, do you? If so please point it out, I will either edit or delete it
Thanks for caring

Hi Jerry,

I respect and commend the fact that you are open and vulnerable enough to use deeply personal things like your health records to show others that there is hope.

I cant really say I know of any information there that could be used to harm you. Maybe because I am not an expert in data services... someone else may be able to see something my eyes are unable to see. However, I was just worried that the open comment section might not be the right place to share sensitive data like this.

Question: why did you do that therapy in Mexico? Homeopathy could likely address whatever it is, and for far cheaper. You could even do it yourself. Ask me.

Stem cells from umbilical cord blood is not available here, I think it may be illegal.
I have not heard of any homeopathic processes that regenerate lungs
Mine are shot

My spine (kaphosis) is crushing them as well

1000009980.jpg

What's the diagnosis for your lungs?

COPD mainly
There is calcified mediastinal and hilar
lymphadenopathy with changes of old granulomatous disease. Flat
calcified pleural plaques are noted predominantly in the left
hemithorax which could be related to prior asbestos exposure or
prior infection/inflammation.

There is stable mild parenchymal scarring in the right upper lobe. The
lungs are clear without airspace consolidations or pleural
effusions. The central airways are clear

I'm about to graduate as a homeopath from this academy if you'd like to know more. Amazing results for disease conventional med deems incurable. You can even do this for yourself! And inexpensively.

What are your symptoms? Cough, fatigue, headache, vertigo etc. If you would rather via email, lemme know. Or if you'd rather not at all, lemme know that too.
