Looks delicious. I love shrimp. In fact I went to a shrimp festival once in Louisiana. And that was before Forrest Gump came out lol but I have been to a Bubba Gump Shrimp Company a couple of times since. We had a great waiter once that kept peppering us with Forrest Gump trivia all through the meal 🙂

The Forrest Gump Bench
Adapted from a bench located in Savannah's Forsyth Park, the benches used in filming the motion picture Forrest Gump were props. They were cast, like this bench, in fiberglass—with concrete legs—to make them lighter and easier to remove and store when not in use. This is one of several duplicate benches made from a single mold. This edition of the bench, cast from the same mold and in the same materials as all of those employed in the filming, is a gift to the City of Savannah from Paramount Pictures Corporation.
Many motion pictures have been filmed in Savannah, and the success of recent ones such as Forrest Gump and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, has had a noticeable impact on the tourism industry. This bench serves as a symbol of that powerful effect.
