My second daughter wants to study Pharmacy. She’s currently in her final year of junior high school and is expected to graduate next year. One day, I asked her, “What do you want to study in the future?” Without hesitation, she said, “Pharmacy.” Her answer surprised me. I hadn’t expected that but I respect her decision and want to support her dreams. As a parent, I believe it’s important to follow our children’s interests, even if the path is not easy.

I’ve been researching the cost of a Pharmacy program, and I found out that it can be quite expensive around 480,000 IDR per month, or $ 30. I’m not entirely sure if I’ll be able to afford it, but I sincerely hope that I can. I believe that with hope, hard work, and a little faith, good things can happen.

Sometimes I wish the universe or something like Hive could grant me a little magic to help secure a better future, not only for my daughter but for my whole family. For now, I rely mainly on my teaching jobs and selling Mambo ice to make ends meet. It’s tough work, especially when the income isn’t always stable. Still, I keep going.
I hope that in the near future, I can earn more either through teaching, expanding my business, or finding new opportunities. I want to give my daughter the chance she deserves. Her dream is becoming my motivation. No matter how hard it gets, I will keep trying.
