I hope that such backups don't quickly tire out the lifetime of your (extra) SSDs which have limited write cycles! π€
If only HDDs can last long in the jungle! π

Honestly, this new generation of NVMe SSDs have a very long lifespan. The cloning is only one write pass each time, so it really doesn't degrade them very much. I use each SSD, with its Arch/Artix installation, for months at a time, then I swap for another, and clone the last one. I also do clone the SSD that I'm currently using, when I make notable changes to the system in some way. Also HHDs do survive her just fine, but it became increasingly difficult to find new laptops that supported HHDs. πππβ¨π€
