I don’t even know how to explain it well, but Korean love movies just have one kind of magic that always touch my heart. Everytime I watch one, I feel something deep inside me. Sometimes I even smile for no reason or my eyes get wet a bit. I say you Dave you really don't need to cry much, but this movies always make me feel emotional somehow.
I can always remember that the first Korean movie I watch was Crash Landing on You. I think at first I just felt to try it because people talk about it too much. And as I continue watching I see and I started to like it more and more. The love between the man and the woman feel so real. They act like real people not movie people. The way they look at each other, the small smile, even when they don’t talk, you can still feel the love there. When the movie end, I just sat down quiet for some minutes. I didn’t even want it to finish.
Since then I have watch many Korean movies like True Beauty and Business Proposal, and I love how the stories go. It’s not too fast like other countries movie. The love take time to grow. It is always start as friends, the caring about each other is there, then slowly love start It make me believe love can still be something real in this world.
Another thing I like is how they always mix love with family and friendship. It make the story sweet and meaningful. I use to also learn about small lessons to be kindness and to have forgiveness from those movies.
Some days my friends will laugh at me, they will tell them I watch Korean love movies too much but I don’t care. I enjoy them and they always make me feel something nice in my heart.
If you never watch one before, just try it. You will understand what I mean.
