Zero kilometers @irenenavarroart
It must be painful to remember and not be able to enjoy the pleasant things in my life again or correct the wrong ones...I prefer to start 0 kilometers.
I prefer to forget everything, but to find the same people around me reincarnated as me, because to do otherwise would be like a mental trap because fear of the future is not a warning, if I keep the memories with these people of my past life that makes me live trapped in that negative expectation, about what is to come, without seeing the future, suffering here and now, which is the first option of this proposal.
This post reminds me that anxiety is just that. To think that the bad is waiting at every corner, that it is stalking us and that, sooner rather than later, it is going to grab us. And we forget that good things can come too.
The past must be known in its proper dimension because it is part of who we are, where we belong, our roots, only as we mature we are understanding things that we did not clarify at the time and internalize them as dogmas, false beliefs that limit us.
Many of these beliefs do not support an objective analysis, but since we never did it and our adults were busy solving day-to-day problems or repeating their own beliefs, well, they grew up with us leaving a mark or scar on our emotional performance.
Last but not least...
Living in the past anchors us, delays us, scrubs our life, spoils any impulse, goal or idea of evolution and advancement. I'm telling you in my very Venezuelan dialect: We fuck ourselves!
