I love, my creamy and essential in my meals on weekends, the Healthy Tiramisu with Chia and my tea made from wild bergamot 🌸, oh and I'm also a coffee lover.
Today I'm showing you how to prepare a spectacular, light and healthy version of the classic Tiramisu. It is perfect as a snack or even as a different breakfast to the one that fills us with energy from early. It's going to fascinate you! I share my recipe with you.
Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons of Greek Yogurt, 1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds, 1 medium cup of coffee (freshly strained and preferably cold or at room temperature), 1 Drizzle of Honey (optional, to sweeten), Pure cocoa powder (sprinkle at the end).
Preparation:
In a cup or glass container (suitable for the cold), add the 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt, the tablespoon of chia seeds, the cup of coffee and the drizzle of honey. Mix everything super well with a teaspoon until the ingredients are completely integrated. Take the container to the fridge and let it sit for a minimum of 2 hours (this will allow the chia to hydrate and create that creamy pudding-like consistency). After that time, remove it from the fridge, sprinkle a fine shower of cocoa powder on top to give it the final touch of tiramisu, and enjoy!
Benefits of using Chia Seeds:They are one of the richest plant sources of healthy fatty acids, ideal for protecting your cardiovascular and brain health. They contain fiber for satiety. By absorbing liquid, they expand in the stomach, helping to control appetite and significantly improving intestinal transit. Due to their antioxidant power, they help fight free radicals, preventing cellular aging of the skin and tissues. They provide an excellent dose of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium to keep your bones strong and healthy.
Did you know what? The word “Chia" is of Mayan origin and means "Strength". energy for a whole day of walking.
Update...
This healthy dessert to calm my afternoon cravings I accompany it with this tea is awesome. I feel relaxed, like super relaxed, mentally and in my body. My mouth and throat are a little numb which makes sense because it contains high levels of thymol and carvacrol. The taste is my least favorite thing about this tea- it tastes like thyme and oregano. I put some honey and lavender in it which helped.
I am definitely going to harvest and dry some to enjoy it all year round...😋🍵🫖
Big hug for everyone. Nice day.
