Hello Everyone
Welcome to my blog.
I came across ladies of hive week 246 questions of the week and was very motivated to participate.
The two questions are interesting questions, but I will be answering to the first question.
Which is all about belief in omens.
Sit tight and enjoy the ride with me through memory lane 😂
I believed some omens that we were told as a child are to restrict us from doing some certain things.
Like this one about not looking down when you are in the market.
I don't mean supermarket, I mean the local markets we from the eastern part of my country normally start a market under a tree before it expends.
So, we were told then that if you look down when you are in the market, you are likely to see ghosts and they would torment you.
Children are very daring at times, the one you said they shouldn't do especially without explaining it in details, is one that would definitely try out.
I and my friend went to market and decided to try it out.
We looked down and couldn't notice anything different until that night we had a troubling dream.
We saw each other the next day and narrated our dreams, we prayed and hope not to dream something like that again, promising to be obedient.
Another one is "not to shutter or react whenever a baby urinates or poos on you"
That it is a blessing when a baby urinates or poos on you when you are carrying them, but if you react irritatingly you will have child bearing issues.
Back then, a baby doesn't always wear pampers, they are allowed freedom to receive air in their private parts.
Especially a child that is learning how to sit, craw or walk.
So, during such moments you happens to carry the baby to smoothen the baby from crying.
There is a chance that what you thought is the problem isn't the problem and when they can control themselves, they release it.
In this moment, you are not supposed to feel irritated.
There are lots more but I will have to stop here, since these are the major ones I have experienced so far apart from the popular itchy hands.
Thank you very much for visiting my blog 🥰
Do enjoy the rest of your day.
