I recall that my nephews were excitedly talking about Cryptocurrencies one day. I surprised them by giving each of them 1000 Dogecoin worth $500 USD at the time of December 2021. It was a learning experience for them to suddenly have some capital to work with. They were quite conservative, almost afraid to take chances. Most important was what they learned about is their own investment comfort level.
They may have talked the talk but haven't quite walked that talk.
After all Crypto is a 'Risk-On asset'.
They were totally surprised that I had my own portfolio, thinking only about gold and silver.
They eventually sold the Dogecoin for the cash in USD.
At least this got them thinking in Financial planning.
