Good evening my ladies. Thank you @ladiesofhive and this week's judge @merit.ahama for this week's prompt. Really interesting topics.
Movies and books have always been two things that keeps me entertained. But there's always a top preference. Mine would be movies. I easily get bored with books alot of times, though sometimes I'm disciplined to read through to the end. But it's not the same with movies, I dont easily get bored. I get to see my different sides when watching movies: my emotional side, dramatic side, intelligent side and more.....
I can't count the number of movies I've watched but i can count the number of books I've read. I know books are important for our daily living, inspiration, motivation and knowledge, all gotten from books but for movies, its like a book put into action. Afterall books are firstly scripts, written down before being acted.
I learn a lot from movies, especially crime scenes, fbi investigations and the rest. I learn alot of safety measures and it has helped built my vocabulary. And though love scenes might not be the same as it is in real life but i learn so much and it makes me see the world in a wider view. And also, I've learnt culture, history of other countries even without being there and also pushes me to make more research about a place. And movies can be done for fun. With friends and family.
The captivation and inspiration that comes from movies, just out of this world. It brings a lot of stories to live, whether real or just scripted. For me, when i watch movies, it's like I'm being taken to a new world altogether.
But all the same, I'm still a lover of books. There's this joy that comes with reading. Especially with novels, when you are reading you try to visualize everything as if you were in the scene, trying to create your own imaginations and also interpretations.
Both are good preferences, but what's is important is what you enjoy to do and how you live in your imaginations while doing it.
Thank you for reading guys.
I'm still @melove
