Hello ladies. Happy New week and welcome to my blog. It's been a while on this space, I took a break so I could concentrate and focus for my last papers in the University. Thank you @ladiesofhive and @joanstewart for the prompts this week. Looking Back, Moving Forward
"Looking back, moving forward" I will say is a very simple phrase that's all about knowing and understanding the balance between reflection and the progress made after reflection. In our world today, people always want to leave the past behind and face the future without ever looking back. But I believe that if you want to experience growth well you have to think and reflect on where you have been before.
When we talk about looking back, it is not about opening up old wounds or remembering past actions and dwelling on the regrets. Its all about knowing the importance of your past, the victory, even the part where you failed and other moments. My friend told me once that she was in her season of reflection. Few months later we spoke and she told me that her season of reflection brought about alot of clearness i.e clarity. She was one person that couldn't even talk about her past, she blamed anyone and anything in her past for where she was. But after that very act of reflection she was grateful for how far she had come.
When we talk about moving forward, it's all about stepping to an era of your life that you know nothing about but you need strength, courage and even grace to face it. Sometimes you might even need what you've learnt from your past. Whatever happens begins with a step and that's where you begin to see progress.
Now to the question. How will this knowledge be used to keep moving forward? For me now that I have entered a new phase of my life, to move towards the future, I'll be able to avoid mistakes I made in the past and make better choices. I will be abe to re-strategize. They'll be the possibility of knowing what plan has worked and which hasn't been able to. Lastly, this knowledge will help me to appreciate my growth and face whatever comes without fear.

Thank you ladies.
