#LOH237: Celebrating Our Mother's.

Hello ladies. Welcome to my blog. It yet another exciting week ladies to write out our opinions and have a good time reading the opinions of others too. Thank you @ladiesofhive and judge for the week @kerrislravenhill for this weeks prompts.

Speaking to a male friend of mine yesterday, he said Sunday was the 5th mother's day that has been celebrated this year and I couldn't help but laugh. Mother's are just special humans and if there's a way they can be celebrated everyday, then why not? If the word sacrifice could be seen as a person it would be mothers. Those humans are lovely, caring, whatever phrase that could be used to describe a person that's so amazing (Amazing that they sacrifice their life so they would bring in another human into the world). Whether married, single or surrogate mothers, they deserve all the love.

Lost my precious mother October 2023. It's been a year and some months and trust me I've not been able to get over that particular incident being that she gave up in my very presence. This past 1 year and few months I've really missed and seen the need for the presence of mother's in their children's life. It's really been a struggle for me and my siblings but we've been pushing to make her proud. Like I always say to my friends that still have their mothers around to take care of them and cherish the time they spend with them, create memories too. So grateful I had lot of memories with my mom.

If mom was still alive I would have loved to do a little weekend getaway for her. She was always a busy woman with work and the things of the kingdom too. So I would have loved to take her out to somewhere cozy and cool to spend the weekend. Do activities she would have loved to do but couldn't, just make sure she enjoys and have a stress free weekend for once away from home, work and the rest. She loved food too, so a buffet lunch, where she would just get to choose whatever she would have loved to eat.

Just like I said Mothers are special humans and should always be treated as such. Thank you.

I know the feeling, that big void in my life from losing my Mom last August 2024 but I thank God that we put all our differences aside well before then and our relationship is as it should. My Mom loved to go out for dinner too, and she was full of joy dining in public with her children and grand children, my siblings and I were more than willing to take extraordinary measures to make sure of that.
Thank you sharing @melove 👩‍💼❤️👵
