If you had the power to create a single law in your country right now, what would it be?
I don't deny it, we need peace, and that can only be achieved by adhering to the laws and rules established by countries. Not all laws are perfect, but they try to guide good people down the right path. There will always be someone who tries to stray from the lines drawn by humankind.
I can't deny it, I'm grateful for the changes taking place in Venezuela. Sometimes they seem slow, but the reality is that after 27 years of fighting this multi-headed monster, we are improving significantly, and we still have a long way to go.
Now they passed an amnesty law, but it didn't cover everyone. They sold it to us as seeking peace, but it has left out many who needed it. And after they said there were no political prisoners here siete mil personas, more than seven thousand people have been released from prison. That's why we don't believe them one bit.
It will take time, but I am sure that in Venezuela, under the leadership of the women, we will be able to move the country forward with laws that seek justice and peace. That is what we foresee in the not-too-distant future.

Si tuvieras ahora mismo el poder de crear una ley única en tu país, ¿cuál sería?
No lo niego necesitamos paz y eso solo se puede lograr con un seguimiento a las leyes y reglas que ponen los países. No todas las leyes son perfectas, pero tratan de llevar por el buen camino a los hombres de bien. Siempre habrá alguien que trata de salirse de las lineas que traza el hombre.
No puedo negarlo estoy agradecida de los cambios que se están dando en Venezuela a veces nos parecen lentos, pero la realidad es que después de 27 años luchando contra este monstruo de múltiples cabezas vamos mejorando muchísimo y todavía nos falta.
Ahora hicieron una ley de amnistía pero que no cubría a todos, nos la vendieron como que buscaba la paz, pero ha dejado a fuera a muchos que la necesitaban y después de que decían que aquí no había presos políticos, han salido de las cárceles más de siete mil personas. Por eso no les creemos ni un poquito.
Va a tomar tiempo pero estoy segura que en Venezuela y al mando de las damas conseguiremos sacar al país adelante con leyes que busquen la justicia y la paz. Es lo que se avizora en un futuro no muy lejano.
