Do you prefer to travel alone, with friends, or with family?
Family trip to a Hill station
Travelling with my family is my first priority, but not always, sometimes the days with my friends are also enjoyable. Because this short break can definitely rejuvenate you and improve your happy harmones.
When it comes to travel, even if its a short trip, I start my planning with a paper and pen, as to what to carry and what not while my better half and children plan the easy way to reach various destinations. The pre travel period is more exciting as we are prepared for the unseen nature.
Our last visit was a 3 day visit to a hill station, few months ago. That was a remarkable journey, leaving memories and stories behind. Hardly we had time to be away from ourselves. I totally enjoyed the togetherness spending and sharing time witheach other, away from the world of gadgets.
As a woman, do you consider Solo Travel as a way of 'Me Time' and self care?
Trip with my niece
Sometimes we prefer to travel alone, staying away from all the chaos and work pressure from home, atleast for a day. As told a "me time". But then as Iam above 50 I prefer a lady companion with whom Iam comfortable to share my joy and happiness.
A solo drive is also one of the advantage where we give time for ourselves. Once a while, I enjoy giving time for myself by visiting close friends or relatives, whom I haven't visited for long for a day or so. Meeting happy faces after years are also another energetic "Me time". A time just meant for you.
Journeys are always part of happiness and is enjoyable, be it solo or with family and friends. According to me its a time away from my kitchen and from my busy schedule, a time just meant for me. Hope we all are blessed with such days even in future.
Photos captured during our journey to different places. Thankyou for your patience and visit to my blog. Wishing a great day ahead
