Cuando entré a la galería de mi teléfono, para elegir la fotografía que usaría para desarrollar el primer tema propuesto, pensaba en todos los momentos importantes vividos en el último año: Cambio de cinturón de mi hijo karateca, competencias tanto de natación como de karate, entregas de reconocimientos, celebraciones varias, el inicio de la remodelación de mi casa...
La verdad es que en mi hogar hemos vivido tantas experiencias, hermosas intensas y significativas, que pensaba que no sabría por cuál me decantaría.
Hasta que me detuve en la siguiente fotografía, de allí no pude avanzar más, entonces supe, que ése sería el día del que hablaría hoy.
When I went into the gallery on my phone to choose the photograph I would use to develop the first proposed theme, I was thinking of all the important moments I had experienced in the last year: my karate son's belt change, swimming and karate competitions, awards ceremonies, various celebrations, the beginning of the remodeling of my house....
The truth is that in my home we have lived so many experiences, beautiful, intense and meaningful, that I thought I would not know which one to choose.
Until I stopped at the next photograph, from there I could not go any further, then I knew that this would be the day I would talk about today.
Sí, me encanta comer sushi tempurizado y son muy pocas las ocasiones en que puedo hacerlo, pero ese día fue especial, no sólo porque me di ese gusto, sino porque viajamos a la ciudad de Puerto La Cruz, a un entrenamiento de karate-do de mi hijo y la pasamos super bien.
Es frecuente que los entrenamientos terminen tarde y no podamos hacer mucho más, pero en esta ocasión, como nunca, éste culminó antes del mediodía y lo primero que hicimos al salir fue ir a comer, mis hijos: pasticho, mi esposo y yo: sushi.
Yes, I love to eat tempura sushi and there are very few occasions when I can do it, but that day was special, not only because I gave myself that pleasure, but because we traveled to the city of Puerto La Cruz, to a karate-do training of my son and we had a great time.
It is common that the training sessions end late and we can not do much more, but this time, as never before, it ended before noon and the first thing we did when we left was to go to eat, my children: pasticho, my husband and I: sushi.
El sitio era muy agradable y todos estábamos muy contentos... Fue uno de esos momentos de felicidad plena y sólo se trataba de un almuerzo.
Yo había comido allí antes, los roll tempurizados, que son los que he probado, son exquisitos, pero ese día probé un té verde con hierbabuena que es algo de otro mundo. Es el mejor té verde que he probado en mi vida.
The place was very nice and we were all very happy.... It was one of those moments of complete happiness and it was just lunch.
I had eaten there before, the tempura rolls, which are the ones I have tried, are exquisite, but that day I tried a green tea with mint that is something out of this world. It is the best green tea I have ever tasted in my life.
Después de nuestra exquisita velada, fuimos a la ferretería EPA, porque como estamos en modo remodelación de casa, queríamos comparar precios, con los que habíamos visto en nuestra ciudad.
Aunque no vimos que los precios fueran solidarios, nos divertimos caminando por todos los pasillos y viendo las cosas que nos interesaban.
After our exquisite evening, we went to the EPA hardware store, because as we are in home remodeling mode, we wanted to compare prices, with those we had seen in our city.
Although we didn't see that the prices were supportive, we had fun walking through all the aisles and looking at the things that interested us.
Antes de emprender nuestro viaje de regreso, pasamos por una chicha en Barcelona, es una parada obligatoria cada vez que vamos, porque nos encanta las que preparan en ese lugar.
Realmente la pasamos excelente, para algunos podría ser un día cualquiera, para nosotros fue mágico, porque la manera como lo vivimos lo hizo inolvidable.
Before starting our return trip, we went to a chicha in Barcelona, it is an obligatory stop every time we go there, because we love the ones they prepare in that place.
We really had an excellent time, for some people it could be just an ordinary day, for us it was magical, because the way we lived it made it unforgettable.
En cuanto al maquillaje, siempre he usado poco, normalmente sólo polvo compacto y labial. De hecho ni siquiera tengo una rutina de "skin care", no uso hidratantes, protector solar, exfoliantes, nada amigas; pero me doy cuenta de que eso no está bien, mi pobre cara me hubiera agradecido un poco más de cuidado.
Pero nunca es tarde para comenzar ¿cierto?
Una de mis metas este año, es usar al menos hidratante y protector solar, para evitar más daños a mi piel.
Mi hija de 16 años, es más cuidadosa con ese tema, tengo que aprender de ella.
As for makeup, I have always used very little, usually just pressed powder and lipstick. In fact I don't even have a “skin care” routine, I don't use moisturizers, sunscreen, exfoliants, nothing girlfriends; but I realize it's not right, my poor face would have thanked me for a little more care.
But it's never too late to start, right?
One of my goals this year is to at least use moisturizer and sunscreen to avoid further damage to my skin.
My 16 year old daughter is more careful about that, I have to learn from her.
