We have like 500 creators all making content for each other and pretending there's an audience. It's just us, liking each other's posts, hoping someone from the outside shows up eventually.

That's a good reflection.

That's not a bad thing

It's terrible. A platform where everyone's a creator with no audience isn't a platform, it's a circle jerk. Post rewards are inflation - we're printing money to pay creators while bringing in zero outside value. That's not sustainable, that's just slow death.

So what's the solution?

Two things: give people a reason to buy HIVE (real money coming in, not just inflation) and make the UX good enough that people show up for the content, not just the rewards. If we can nail those, we'd have something real. The tech is there, we just need to make it worth using.
