Due to the long power outage today (7am-5pm), I'm chilling outside the house, in my cousin's tent. Since my cousins left yesterday, I'm alone with a book I'm almost done reading. I need another one. XD

That kind of situations is always a boring thing (to say the least).
It came back as scheduled, so no problem...
I was able to charge my devices in advance, and I had some books to read... so it was all good!
Where I live, power outages like this happen almost every day, so I always take advantage of those moments to write or get some work done at home.
It's so tedious having to go through that every day, but oh well. 🥴
We experienced that before. There was rotational power outage, and it was so bad for my job because I work from home, and I didn't know the exact time they'd cut the power in our area. hahaha
This is something they haven't fixed for decades, and I doubt they will now. 🥴

Do they announce specific times or you just get used to getting ready for it?
No, it's random and they never give any warning. But yes, you get used to it and prepare yourself for when it happens. 🥴
It sucks... it's not something people have to get used to.
