This is a selfie I had to take with the front camera on my phone. My phone fell off of the table by itself today while I was in the shower and the selfie camera got smashed.
It’s going to be rather frustrating, but I don’t have any other options.
LOL. It would help if the phone didn’t decide to throw itself off of the table when I leave it there.

Did you know that the appendix has long been thought to be a useless organ...
But some research is showing that it is a bank for beneficial organisms when we experience things like diarrhea that kills off a lot of the good bacteria
I believe I read somewhere that the appendix also stores 'dead' organisms that you've developed immune response to, like a reference library for previously encountered diseases.
I just checked it out.
Can't find any information about the appendix storing dead organisms.
It is believed to serve as a reservoir for beneficial gut bacteria, helping to repopulate the intestines after infections like diarrhea.
That's what I can see on a quick search
I've done a lot of reading on 'fringe' sciences over the years. This may well have just been a hypothesis that I read once, long ago.

I've always thought about this, cause I say I have heart burn but the reflux is in the stomach, is that right?
The reflux is that food in your stomach that has mixed with acid begins to go back up to your throat .
The throat is not designed to handle the acid, so it causes a burning feeling...described as heart burn.
