Wow!
You have a beautiful garden now in bloom with an enviable variety of colors!
That first plant you're showing is called chamizco here, and some teenagers use it for its hallucinogenic properties, but it's very dangerous, even lethal if consumed improperly.
Really? When the flowers drop I take them away immediately so the dogs wouldn’t eat them (which they don’t). But they smell so lovely in the morning and evenings. We are trying to grow them ourselves now this summer
Yes. Its leaves are very good to use warm on the skin of the back and chest for people suffering from asthma attacks. But its flowers, in infusions or used as sweets, are very dangerous because they can cause neuromotor spasms and other complications such as cardiorespiratory arrest.
I'm glad they're caring for them this way.
I didn’t know the use of the leaves to be honest, which is wonderful to hear, because my daughter had asthma. So I learned a lot again today, thanks for sharing the knowledge 🙏
You stretch the leaves and heat them without burning them. Then you place them on your chest and back, so they're warm, and you'll see how they feel a little more decompressed.
We will try it out when it stops raining here, thanks you for the advice ❤️
