Both of my sons are sweet and kind, but like all siblings they know how to push each other's buttons. My wife and I offered to have them share a bunk bed and a room together. I was surprised when they both excitedly agreed to it.

They just spent yesterday night having a sleepover at my parents' house. While they were still away this morning, my wife and I assembled their bunk bed. We'll eventually be converting my youngest son's room into a play room and guest room.
When my wife mentioned the idea of the boys sharing a bunk bed and their own room to her coworker, he said it would be the "worst best decision ever." We put the boys to bed after reading them a story, and ten minutes later you can hear them both fighting. They came out at least three separate times, complaining that the other was picking on them. I finally had to threaten to take away all electronics tomorrow if they don't behave.
It truly felt like the "worst best decision ever," as my wife and I just shook our heads. Half an hour later, we realized it was quiet and we hadn't heard anything from either of them. I predicted a very sleepless, challenging night, and they ended up falling fast asleep.

I'd say things didn't turn out too bad for the "worst best decision ever."
