Have you ever missed being a kid?

Just running around the living room, shouting til grandma gets annoyed. Skipping from couch to couch. Or skipping floor tiles like it's lava.

Have you missed being with your childhood friends?

The time when you just run around with your friends, nothing to think but what to do next. Riding your bicycles around town, getting chased by stray dogs. Door knocking on neighbours or what others call, Ding Dong Ditch. Chilling out on the curbside, laughing and having fun with your friends.

Do you miss chatting all day long with your high school friends?

The first time you ever skipped class just to chill out on the gym benches. Get to experience your first date, first kiss, first heartbreak. Get to know your brother or sister from another mother, you bestfriend 'til the end. Someone who you can understand and care for you without talking for years.

Do you ever miss just waking up late?

Being the adult that you are now is sometimes saddening; you can't just do what you want to do. Running around You have work to think all day, food to supply, and bills to worry about.

The responsibility of providing for the family is now another weight to carry. You now have the baggage to carry, making sure the table is filled for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keeping everybody in good health. All things in place inside and outside your home, making sure everybody's needs are filled.

I am not saying having a family is a bad thing. It's hard, yes! But in the long run, it's worth it.

You know how hard it is? A little monster would always greet you when you get home from work. It'll try to take all your things from you, take a huge hug from you, and cover your face with little kisses. It will run around and annoy you all day. You won't get to sleep alone anymore; this little monster will be by your side 'til it feeds on your energy. The genuine laugh of the little monster will be your haven. At one point in your life, that child's hug will be the only rest you need for the whole day.

On the bright side, being that tired, frustrated, stressed-out adult, it is not that bad to be one. You'll still get to enjoy every second of being one. Being an adult, gets to experience firsts also. First baby, the first time baby grabs your finger, baby's first cry, and you have no idea what to do, the first time you carried your baby to sleep, the first argument with your baby with cooing. There's so much first to experience, and you will never forget that first feeling.

You can be playful as a kid, even for a grown-up, be creative and clever with your child. Teach him how to ride a bike, run around in the park, hide and seek around the house, ambush mom with a water gun, annoy mom with your creative mind making stuff up around the house, and other stuff that you did when you were a kid.

Value the time you spend with your family and treasure all moments with them. Give undivided attention to your family, especially to your children. They don't tell you, but they cherish every second you're together.

It's just my opinion. We think differently, and if you want to add or if something is wrong, kindly comment. It's okay, I can take a criticism. Also, sorry for a bit scattered arrangement of thoughts, kinda feeling down lately, and I just wanna let these thoughts out before it gets messier.

Thank you for reading. Hope you like it.
