What You Plant Today, You Will Harvest Tomorrow

in Reflections12 days ago

I learned a new lesson today and maybe it's the best lesson I've ever learned in my life. I learned that whatever you plant, you will one day harvest and this might sound like a philosophical saying, or just another repeated phrase you read in newspapers or books something that feels too ordinary and disconnected from real life but I’ve learned to reflect on everything and to see how things work from everyone’s point of view.

It’s true: you will reap what you sow but what I’ve learned is that you won’t necessarily reap it today or tomorrow it might take five years, ten years, or even twenty years as it’s not necessary to see the results of what you plant right away. This gives us a clear idea about how our actions today will shape our future and it’s like planting a tree as it might take ten years to grow, but in the end, you will harvest what you planted.

I thought deeply about this in terms of the actions I take and the things I do for example, when I get angry or stressed on a daily basis, it might lead me to some kind of mental struggle, or maybe even depression not immediately, but one day I planted something inside me, and I will eventually harvest it. That’s what I found when I looked back at my past and reflected on it.

The same goes for the positive things in life as you have to plant what you want to harvest like effort, hard work, and persistence so you might face difficulty or problems at first, and it may be hard to maintain your momentum but in the end, you will harvest success from your effort, and you will gain strong willpower from the persistence you showed and all those seeds you planted over the years will eventually help you build a strong personality and maybe even a great fortune.

So, if you want to achieve success or wealth, maybe it starts with the small savings you make or maybe it’s the simple pieces of information or small lessons you hear every day on YouTube that become the reason behind gaining great knowledge or building wealth as those small seeds that you plant and water every day through consistency and persistence become the vehicle that will one day take you where you want to go and will shape your personality and actions in the future.
