Go ahead and get out ...

Many times, well-being is built on simple things that we tend to overlook.

Going out, socializing does not renew, limits obligations when we take a break, and enjoying the outdoors even the colors of the street, is a pampering that we deserve and costs nothing more than time.

Maintaining a routine, encouraging yourself to ask for help, discovering new interests or continuing to grow personally are also part of living this stage better.

The third age does not have to be lived from resignation, but from the possibility of continuing to find meaning in everyday life. Feeling old is not necessarily a matter of age, but rather of mentality regarding the age and life you have.

Being able to have well-being in the elderly also means being able to be well with ourselves and not be our own obstacle to feeling fulfilled.

Feeling old is not necessarily a matter of age of being old, but rather of mentality regarding the age and life you have. Being able to have well-being in the elderly also means being able to be well with ourselves and not be our own obstacle to feeling fulfilled.

We who believe that freedom is to do only what we feel often end up lost inside ourselves.

Every human being in the third age needs rituals such as schedules, silence, emotional discipline, conscious pauses, a rested body, a coherent word, a sustained spiritual practice, we are like our planet earth that also has structure such as seasons, tides, cycles, breathing. Each stage brings its challenges, but also new ways to be better.

It's not about denying the passage of time, but about learning to live it with more meaning.

Understanding that we are going through a new stage of life and not an illness or disease, allows us to take control of our feeling to be able to see old age, as something to be cured or treated, and this does not let us discover how to live better.

Welcome June is my birthday and I'm already reflecting on the number of times I've heard the “I don't celebrate, I'm already old”, “it's only one year less” and similar things.

I think that the third age is an ideal stage to celebrate life, another year that adds memories, encounters and experiences that fill the soul and brighten up the days, to celebrate life, each and every one of our days, and leave the chaos behind. It's not a question of age, to live well

Taking care of yourself is not only to take care of the body, it is also to pay attention to what we feel, what we think and how we live day to day, for this it is good to exercise, read and socialize.

At this stage of our lives after the age of 65, our emotional health is not always seen, but it is felt. And working on it is also part of living this stage better.

Hopefully this will be the week when something finally fits in our favor: that news that we are waiting for, that unexpected turn or that door that seemed closed and suddenly opens. Sometimes life takes time to sort things out, but when it does, everything starts to make sense and you understand why nothing happened before.
