You're still on time...

My recharge of faith, hope and energy begins in my family from which I learned that no matter how difficult life becomes, you always have to keep going because life does not stop, and it is necessary to continue while we find a why? For what? And a how?.

The determination and strength of the women in my family and the constancy and perseverance of my life "my mom Elsie Arratia" who is still alive at 87 years old, are a constant inspiration for me.

Each of the members of my family have proven with their lives that, no matter the obstacles, you can always find a reason to keep going and move forward.

Every learning from them is present at the worst moments of my life and they have helped me not once, but a thousand times, to look for ways out, I want what I write in this post to convey the certainty that there is always a light at the end of the road.

If I am going through a difficult moment, for a few days of darkness...

I remember that it is so that I can see, recognize and reconcile with my own inner light 🤍

The best teaching is given by example.

Being an adult is not an easy task, we certainly go through things that build us as a person. Many times we have traumas or situations that we have not overcome and that repeat themselves as a pattern.

If you need someone to choose you to feel valuable, without a doubt, you are in the wrong place. Because when you live waiting for the validation of the other, you forget about yourself.

Believe in yourself, even when no one else does. Don't wait for external validation to know what you're worth. Many of us grew up believing that we were worth it only if we were approved.

Has it happened to you?

Really that's not self-esteem, it's living from emotional lack and in total dependence on the other, canceling yourself out.

When the world turns its back on you, give yourself a hug. When the voices outside doubt you, let yours sound louder.

It starts with you, because when you learn to be your own safe place, you no longer need others to save you.

The importance of accepting that the road has delays, stumbles, obstacles, challenges... They also remind me that we have the strength and temperance to carry on.

You are your engine, your company and your impulse. And from there, everything else starts to blossom.

And to get to where I am flourishing, it takes therapy, awareness, self-knowledge, self-care, letting go of patterns, in my case it has been a curve of actions that are bringing me closer to that personal choice, they are my tools in this "You're still in time" to achieve changes and put aside the eternal search for someone else's approval.

Happy day to all ✨
