That corn field and the pumpkins reminded me of a couple of horror movies.
We too, but we didn't mention it in front of the kids. My wife was talking about "Children of the Corn" :D

Trapped in the cornfield is also a good movie. Cornfields are almost always associated with paranormal or extraterrestrial things, especially at night.
