Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de esta linda comunidad; espero que todos se encuentren bien, creando cosas muy bonitas. Este mes de enero lo agarré de descanso en el área de la costura; sin embargo, ya empecé a comprar materiales para ponerle manos a las telas. Ya que tengo varios proyectos pensados para hacer en estos días.
Ahora bien, primero déjenme contarles que en el salón de mi princesa Arianna por las ventanas pega mucho el sol y le estuve proponiendo a los representantes en una reunión mandar hacer unas cortinas, así que me di a la tarea de ir al castillo y ver las diferentes opciones que había para hacerlas.
Una representante me recomendó la tela de colchón porque era económica y había bastantes modelos bonitos; sin embargo, la mejor tela sería la que es especial para que no entren los rayos del sol; claro, estas son un poco más costosas. Por acá les dejo algunas fotografías y mirarán los precios.
Hablando de los precios, ese día que fui a esta tienda, muchas telas no tenían precio, puesto que por acá se ha suscitado una situación irregular en cuanto a subidas y bajadas del dólar, entonces los precios han estado fluctuantes y este día habían quitado muchos de los precios que, para nuestra sorpresa, era para mejor, ya que los estaban bajando. Pero antes era que lo habían subido demasiado.
Ahora, hablando de las telas que sí fui a comprar, como estas tres telas que ven por acá, una que es blanca para hacerle un pantalón largo en capas; es un modelo muy bonito que pronto le estaré haciendo y mostrando por acá el paso a paso.
Las otras dos son una rosada y una morada en tela rip, una tela que se está usando mucho porque es bastante cómoda y se pueden hacer infinidades de proyectos con ella. Mis princesas quieren para estos carnavales disfrazarse, por decirlo de alguna manera, de tenistas; tienen unas nuevas raquetas que les trajo el Niño Jesús y una es morada y la otra es rosada. Así que se me ocurrió esta idea que a ellas les gustó: vestirse de deportivas y esta ropa les queda para otras ocasiones.
Por lo general, en los carnavales siempre las disfrazo, pero Arianna ya está grandecita y no quiere tanto. Por otro lado, Ámbar, que sí es chiquita, es muy complicada con la ropa y yo le podría hacer un disfraz maravilloso y hermoso con muchos detalles; la cuestión es que no le gustaría ponérselo. Sí, es una lucha para ponerle un vestido. Imagínese uno de esos trajes que tienen muchas cositas que a veces vamos a estar claros que son un poco incómodas.
Así que les estaré haciendo unos vestidos deportivos alusivos a esta disciplina como es el tenis; vamos a ver cómo me queda. Pondré mucho empeño y cariño para que queden bien bonitos como todas las cosas que les he venido haciendo.

Buying sewing supplies
Greetings and blessings, my dear friends in this lovely community. I hope you are all well and creating beautiful things. This January, I took a break from sewing, but I have already started buying supplies to get started on some fabric projects. I have several projects in mind for these days.
Now, first let me tell you that the sun shines very brightly through the windows in my princess Arianna's room, and I was suggesting to the representatives at a meeting that we have some curtains made, so I took it upon myself to go to the castle and see the different options available for making them.
One representative recommended mattress fabric because it was inexpensive and there were quite a few nice patterns; however, the best fabric would be the one specially designed to block out the sun's rays, but of course, these are a bit more expensive. Here are some photos and you can see the prices.
Speaking of prices, on the day I went to this shop, many fabrics did not have prices, since there has been an irregular situation here with regard to the rise and fall of the pound, so prices have been fluctuating and on this day they had removed many of the prices, which, to our surprise, was for the better, as they were lowering them. But before that, they had raised them too much.
Now, talking about the fabrics I did go to buy, like these three fabrics you see here, one is white to make long layered trousers; it's a very nice model that I'll be making soon and showing you step by step here.
The other two are a pink and a purple rip fabric, a fabric that is being used a lot because it is quite comfortable and you can make endless projects with it. My princesses want to dress up for carnival, so to speak, as tennis players; they have new rackets that Baby Jesus brought them, one purple and one pink. So I came up with this idea that they liked: dressing up as sportswomen, and these clothes will fit them for other occasions.
I usually dress them up for carnival, but Arianna is already quite big and doesn't want to do it so much anymore. On the other hand, Ámbar, who is still little, is very fussy about clothes, and I could make her a wonderful, beautiful costume with lots of details, but the thing is, she wouldn't want to wear it. Yes, it's a struggle to get her to wear a dress. Imagine one of those outfits that has lots of little details that, let's be honest, are a bit uncomfortable.
So, I'll be making them some sports dresses inspired by tennis; we'll see how they turn out. I'll put a lot of effort and love into making them as beautiful as everything else I've been making for them.
