Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de needleworkmonday, es un gusto visitarlos en esta nueva semana. Deseo que sea de muchas alegrías y proyectos por realizar con éxito. Espero que ayer hayan pasado un bonito Día de las Madres en familia, comiendo rico y disfrutando de la compañía de sus seres queridos.
El día de hoy quiero compartirles un proyecto bastante sencillo, pero con un resultado muy lindo. A mi mamá ya le había comprado esa bonita franela que vino en dúo, una para ella y otra para mí. Pero quería complementar el regalo con algún accesorio hecho por mí y por eso decidí hacerle esta bonita diadema.
Para su realización usamos unos pocos materiales. Utilizaba una tela preciosa que fue la que usé para el vestido de bautizo de mi princesa Ámbar; todavía me quedaban algunos retazos y fue la ideal para hacer esta bella diadema.
Utilicé las siguientes medidas de tela y elástico:
45 cm por 18 cm de tela.
30 cm por 7 cm de tela.
12 cm de elástico.
Para realizarlo es tan sencillo como miran en las fotos, también pueden guiarse de algunos tutoriales como yo lo estuve haciendo. Ya cortadas las telas, se doblan a la mitad y se pasa costura, luego se voltean y a la que tiene la tela más pequeña se le introduce el elástico, asegurándolo con costura en los extremos.
Luego enfrentar las partes delanteras de la diadema y la del elástico, pasar costura y luego que está cocido se estira y hacemos lo mismo por ambos lados y listo, ya está la diadema, por supuesto, hay que pasarle plancha para que quede así bello, un trabajo bien prolijo.
Después me la medí y vi que la tela se sentía como un poco gruesa y como la tela es rígida, entonces quise mejor colocarle algo en el centro y quedara con esta bonita forma.
Mis niñas le hicieron un bonito dibujo a mi mamá que también por aquí les muestro una parte y cómo lo lucía mi querida madre, estaba feliz. Ella, por lo general, no utiliza este tipo de accesorios, gracias a Dios que sí le gustó y que sí se lo puso para disfrutar el día de las madres.
Bueno, amigos, esta ha sido mi creación de hoy, espero que les guste y se atrevan a intentar hacerla. Ya he visto varios tutoriales de diferentes formas de los que voy a ir realizando las pruebas, a ver qué tal me quedan y, por supuesto, les estaré mostrando.
Headband for Mom

I hope you had a nice Mother's Day yesterday with your family, eating delicious food and enjoying the company of your loved ones.
Today I want to share with you a very simple project, but with a very nice result. I had already bought my mom that nice flannel that came as a duo, one for her and one for me. But I wanted to complement the gift with some accessory made by me and that's why I decided to make her this pretty headband.
For its realization we used just a few materials. I used a beautiful fabric that was the one I used for my princess Amber's christening dress; I still had some scraps left and it was the ideal one to make this beautiful headband.
I used the following fabric and elastic measurements:
45 cm by 18 cm of fabric.
30 cm by 7 cm of fabric.
12 cm of elastic.
To make it is as simple as you can see in the pictures, you can also be guided by some tutorials as I was doing. Once the fabrics are cut, fold them in half and sew them together, then turn them over and introduce the elastic to the one with the smallest fabric, securing it with seams at the ends.
Then face the front parts of the headband and the elastic, sew the seam and after it is cooked, stretch it and do the same on both sides and that's it, the headband is ready, of course, you have to iron it to make it look beautiful, a very neat job.
Then I measured it and I saw that the fabric felt a little thick and as the fabric is rigid, I wanted to put something in the center to give it this beautiful shape.
My girls made a nice drawing for my mom that I also show you here a part of it and how my dear mother looked at it, she was happy. She usually does not use this kind of accessories, thank God she liked it and she did wear it to enjoy Mother's Day.
