Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de esta bonita comunidad; es un gusto visitarlos en esta nueva semana. En este lunes de costura espero que todos se encuentren muy bien. En lo que va de mes he tenido un descanso en las costuras, pero ya debo activarme; sin embargo, como ya les he dicho antes, tengo varios proyectos que compartirles que estuve haciendo estos últimos meses del año.
Uno muy especial fue un enterizo rojo que le hice a mi princesa Orismar. Cuando estuve realizándolo, ella no se encontraba conmigo, así que lo hice con mis medidas, ya que, según yo, teníamos los cuerpos bastante parecidos, aunque ella está más cuarto bate, como diríamos nosotros los venezolanos.
Mis princesas son algo complicadas con la ropa y yo le quería hacer un regalo hecho a mano y había escogido una blusa bien bonita para hacerle, pero ella me dijo que le gustaba un enterizo y que no lo había comprado pensando que no le podía quedar bien. Yo le dije que sí, que sí le iba a quedar muy lindo y que yo se la iba a hacer, así que cambié de la camisa que, por cierto, se la hice a Arianna y luego se las estaré mostrando, y me dispuse a realizarle esta bonita braga.
Por acá les muestro el paso a paso de este proyecto que, de antemano les digo, fue bastante sencillo y rápido, así que se lo recomiendo 100%.
Lo primero que realicé fue el patrón; tomé mis medidas y le saqué el porcentaje de elasticidad de la tela, que en este caso esta tela es bastante elástica y le saqué el 20%. Es una tela de rít bastante suave y fácil de confeccionar.
La parte de adelante es completa, una sola pieza, y la parte de atrás es en dos piezas. Una vez que saqué los patrones, los coloqué en la tela y corté; saqué varias piezas, ya que la parte, cómo decir, de la blusa iba forrada. Quería forrar completamente el enterizo, pero la tela no me dio, ya que era un solo metro. Igual así quedó muy bien porque la verdad que la tela cubre bastante, no transparenta.
Entonces, como ven, el forrado quedó muy bonito, muy prolijo. Luego seguí con la parte de atrás en donde ella lo quería con un fruncido; este efecto lo logré colocándole una elástica. La verdad que esta parte no quedó tan fruncida como quisiera porque no sabía qué cantidad más o menos fruncir; no le quise poner tanto porque no quería que fuera a quedar tan descotado; al final se ve muy bien.
Cuando ya estaba prácticamente confeccionada la pieza, me la estuve probando antes de cerrar las entrepiernas para ver cómo iba quedando. Como ven, me tomé varias fotos para modelar esta pieza e ir enseñándosela a través de WhatsApp a mi princesa para ver si le iba gustando, ya que ella me lo pidió de esa manera.
La verdad que como un vestido queda esta pieza genial; en estos días estaré comprando más tela para hacerme un vestido, ya que el enterizo para mí se ve como muy juvenil y me gustaría más hacerme un vestido con este mismo patrón que se ve muy lindo.
A los pocos días que ya tenía el enterizo listo, regresó mi princesa al país, un día muy emotivo, yo estaba demasiado feliz de reencontrarme con mi princesa después de dos años que no tenía la oportunidad de abrazarla, besarla conversar con ella en persona.
Como recientemente había cumplido sus 24 años la recibimos con una pequeña torta y le cantamos cumpleaños horas después de que llegó, que se echó un buen baño ya que era un viaje largo, se refrescó. Y por supuesto quiso colocarse su regalo que le quedó maravilloso, ella estaba feliz con él resultado también le regalé una falda playera que luego les estaré mostrando en otra oportunidad.

Jumpsuit for my princess Orismar
Greetings and blessings, my dear friends in this beautiful community; it is a pleasure to visit you in this new week. On this Monday of sewing, I hope you are all doing very well. So far this month, I have had a break from sewing, but now I must get back to work. However, as I have told you before, I have several projects to share with you that I have been working on these last few months of the year.
One very special project was a red jumpsuit I made for my princess Orismar. When I was making it, she wasn't with me, so I made it using my measurements, since I thought we had very similar body types, although she is a bit more curvaceous, as we Venezuelans would say.
My princesses are a bit picky about clothes, and I wanted to make her a handmade gift. I had chosen a very pretty blouse to make for her, but she told me that she liked a jumpsuit and that she hadn't bought one because she thought it wouldn't fit her well. I told her that yes, it would look very nice on her and that I would make it for her, so I changed the shirt, which, by the way, I made for Arianna and will show you later, and set about making this pretty dress for her.
Here I'll show you the step-by-step process for this project, which, I'll tell you in advance, was quite simple and quick, so I recommend it 100%.
The first thing I did was make the pattern; I took my measurements and calculated the elasticity percentage of the fabric, which in this case is quite elastic, and I took 20%. It is a fairly soft fabric and easy to work with.
The front is one piece, and the back is two pieces. Once I had made the patterns, I placed them on the fabric and cut them out; I cut out several pieces, as the top part of the blouse was going to be lined. I wanted to line the whole dress, but I didn't have enough fabric, as I only had one metre. Even so, it turned out very well because the fabric is quite thick and not see-through.
So, as you can see, the lining turned out very nice, very neat. Then I continued with the back, where she wanted it to be gathered; I achieved this effect by adding elastic. To be honest, this part didn't turn out as gathered as I would have liked because I didn't know how much to gather; I didn't want to gather it too much because I didn't want it to be too low-cut; in the end, it looks great.
When the piece was almost finished, I tried it on before closing the crotch to see how it looked. As you can see, I took several photos to model this piece and show it to my princess via WhatsApp to see if she liked it, since she asked me to do so.
The truth is that this piece looks great as a dress; I'll be buying more fabric to make myself a dress, as the jumpsuit looks too youthful for me and I'd rather make myself a dress with this same pattern, which looks very pretty.
A few days after I had finished the jumpsuit, my princess returned to the country. It was a very emotional day. I was so happy to be reunited with my princess after two years without the opportunity to hug her, kiss her, and talk to her in person.
As she had recently turned 24, we welcomed her with a small cake and sang happy birthday to her a few hours after she arrived. She took a nice bath to freshen up after her long journey. And, of course, she wanted to put on her gift, which looked wonderful on her. She was happy with the result. I also gave her a beach skirt, which I will show you another time.
