Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos @needleworkmonday. Un gusto visitarlos nuevamente por segunda vez en esta semana, es que estoy muy emocionada, puesto que me embarcó en un nuevo proyecto de costura y quería mostrarles por acá las compras que estuve realizando, hace un momento.
Unos días atrás les estuve mostrando cómo les hice los vestidos de bautizos a mis princesas Arianna y Ámbar. Ahora, para el mes que viene, Arianna hará su primera comunión. También le estaré haciendo un lindo vestido, bueno vestido, no, un conjunto de corset y falda de pliegues.
Ella lo quería con una tela lisa, brillante, elegante, bonita y le compré esta tela de raso que no es totalmente blanca, como también quería, pero en ese tipo de tela era la más parecida posible y creo que la idea genial para este evento tan especial.
Para hacer esta prenda también le compré cierre invisible y unas varillas plásticas, que venden por metros. Me pareció más cómoda que las de metal, aunque me gustaría usarlas para otro proyecto. El corset no llevará cierre si no irá con un amarrado causado en la espalda, para eso compre cola de ratón.
Y para mí también quiero hacer un bonito vestido. Ya había escogido la tela de que quería, pero hoy cuando llegué a la tienda me conseguí con esta otra que me gustó mucho. Es blanca con unas arrugas o pliegues y le va muy bien al modelo de vestido que me pienso hacer.
Aunque les confieso que estoy dudosa en sí hacerme un vestido o un conjunto. Ya que los vestidos me encantan y prácticamente no tengo, ahora quisiera hacerme varios. Por lo general uno se viste de pantalón y camisa y no quisiera hacer el vestido solo para guardarlo, aunque para esta ocasión especial sí me encantaría un vestido. Así que ya les estaré contando mi decisión entre uno y otro.
Mañana quiero empezar estos dos lindos proyectos y luego mostrarlos aquí en la comunidad, espero que queden tan bonitos como quiero.
More fabrics for communion dresses
Greetings and blessings, my dear friends @needleworkmonday. It's a pleasure to visit you again for the second time this week, I'm very excited, since I'm embarking on a new sewing project and I wanted to show you here the purchases I've been making, just a moment ago.
A few days ago I was showing you how I made the christening dresses for my princesses Arianna and Amber. Now, for next month, Arianna will have her first communion. I will also be making her a cute dress, well dress, no, a corset and pleated skirt set.
She wanted it with a smooth, shiny, elegant, pretty fabric and I bought her this satin fabric that is not totally white, as she also wanted, but in that type of fabric it was the closest possible and I think the idea great for this special event.
To make this garment I also bought an invisible zipper and some plastic rods, which are sold by the meter. I found them more comfortable than the metal ones, although I would like to use them for another project. The corset will not have a zipper but will have a tie caused in the back, for that I bought mouse glue.
And for me I also want to make a nice dress. I had already chosen the fabric I wanted, but today when I got to the store I found this other one that I really liked. It's white with some wrinkles or pleats and it fits very well with the dress I'm planning to make.
Although I confess that I am hesitating whether to make a dress or an outfit. Since I love dresses and I practically don't have any, I would like to make several of them. I usually wear pants and a shirt and I wouldn't want to make a dress just to keep it, although for this special occasion I would love a dress. So I will be telling you my decision between one or the other.
Tomorrow I want to start these two beautiful projects and then show them here in the community, I hope they look as nice as I want.
