Bracelet display stand | Tutorial [Eng-Esp]

Greetings, fellow craft lovers! Welcome back to my workshop @bricolajedc. Today, I’d love to show you how to make a 4-tier bracelet display. Join me, and I’ll walk you through the creative process.

Saludos amigos amantes de las artes manuales! Les doy la bienvenida una vez más a mi taller @bricolajedc, en esta oportunidad me encantaría compartir con ustedes la elaboración de un ***exhibidor de pulseras de 4 niveles. Acompáñenme y les muestro el proceso creativo.

Cardboard rolls
2-millimeter-thick cardboard
1 meter of upholstery fabric
Scissors
Measuring tape
Utility knife
Hot glue
Pencil
Paper tape
Recycled paper
A piece of cardstock

Let's start by taking the paper rolls and taping them together to make a 30-centimeter strip.

Comencemos tomando los rollos de papel y uniéndolos con cinta para tener una medida de 30 centímetros.

I had a thin cardboard tube, so I added that too to hold the necklaces. You can wrap the tape around the joints a few times to reinforce the cardboard.

Tenía un rollo de cartón fino y también lo agregué para colocar los collares. Podemos dar varias vueltas de cinta en las uniones para reforzar el cartón.

Once all the rolls are ready, we’ll take some recycled paper and stuff each one; this will make each roll sturdier and give it enough weight so it won’t tip over.

Una vez que tenemos todos los rollos listos, vamos a tomar papel de reciclaje y rellenaremos cada uno, esto le dara una mayor fortaleza a cada rollo y le dará peso para que no se voltee.

We'll use the cardboard to make a flap on each end of the cardboard tube so the stuffing doesn't fall out. To do this, simply glue the tube to the cardboard using silicone glue. Trim off the excess so it doesn't stick out from the tube.

Con el cartón vamos a hacer una tapa de cada lado del tubo de cartón para que no se salga el papel de relleno. Esto lo hacemos simplemente pegando con silicona el tubo al cartón. Recortamos el excedente para que no resalte del tubo.

Now we’re going to cover each tube with upholstery fabric. I chose a beige fabric to really make the dark bracelets stand out.

We seal the edges of the tubes by applying silicone, then cover them with the fabric. Next, we cover the entire tube.

Ahora vamos a forrar cada tubo con la tela de tapicería. Yo escogí una tela en color beige para resaltar las pulseras oscuras sobre todo.

Tapamos los bordes de los tubos, aplicando silicon y liego cubrimos con la tela. Luego todo el tubo.

The idea is to place the bracelets on the display and arrange them side by side. This type of display is ideal for carrying a large number of bracelets.

La idea es colocar las pulseras y poder organizarlas una al lado de la otra. Este tipo de exhibidor es ideal para transportar una gran cantidad de pulseras.

For the base, we’ll make a 30-centimeter pyramid, and using tubes of the same length, we’ll create a staircase with four semicircles. At each corner of the pyramid, we’ll place a step and measure 2 centimeters inward to position the other steps. We’ll cut along these lines to form the steps.

Para la base, haremos una pirámide 30 centímetros y con la misma medida de los tubos hacemos en escalera 4 semicírculos. En cada una de las esquinas de las pirámides ubicaremos un escalón y medimos 2 centímetros havia adentro para ubicar los otros escalones. Recortamos para que queden los escalones.

Use the tape to cover all the edges of the pyramids. This will prevent the cardboard from tearing and make the structure more sturdy.

Con la cinta adhesiva, vamos a cubrir todos los bordes de las piramides. Así evitamos que el cartos se desgarre y le damos fuerza a la estructura.

Once we have two pieces like this arranged in a pyramid shape, we’ll cover them with fabric. Apply glue to both sides of the cardboard and cover them with the fabric, making sure there are no wrinkles.

Luego de tener 2 piezas como esta en pirámide, vamos a forrar con la tela. Por ambos lados del cartón colocamos la silicona y forramos con la tela sin dejar arrugas.

Once both pyramids are covered with fabric, we’ll make a piece of cardboard and cut two slits 5 centimeters from the edge; these will serve as the tabs into which we’ll insert the pyramids.

And that’s how our display will be ready.

Una vez que tenemos ambas pirámides con su forro de tela, vamos a hacer una pieza de cartón a la que le abriremos 2 ranumas a 5 centímetros del borde, estas serán las pestañas donde vamos a introducir las pirámides.

Y así nos quedaría listo nuestro exhibidor.

And there you have it—our display made from recycled materials: quick, inexpensive, and very easy to make.

Y listo tenemos nuestro exhibidor hecho con material de de reciclaje, rápido, económico y muy fácil de hacer.

This type of display stand is ideal for trade shows and events, where transporting the products we sell can be a challenge.

Este tipo de exhibidor es ideal para las ferias y eventos fonde trasladar los productos que vendemos puede llegar a ser un desafío.
