Hola amigos amantes de las manualidades, espero que tengan un excelente fin de semana. Hoy quiero mostrarles los lindos lapiceros que decoré con motivo de Venezuela. Hace unos días, Chris tuvo su cierre de proyecto en el que se trataron muchos temas sobre Venezuela: símbolos patrios, trajes típicos, agricultura, ganadería, etc. A mi Chris le tocó hablar sobre los símbolos patrios y acá les compartí una linda maleta que le hice, que por cierto fue donada a la escuela. Resulta que un día antes de dicha exposición, la maestra nos dijo que debíamos hacer un detalle para los 5 jurados que iban a asistir a dicho cierre. En el grupo nadie dijo nada, no llegaron a ningún acuerdo, pero yo me fui al supermercado y compré unos lapiceros con la intención de decorarlos luego de ver algunas ideas en Pinterest, y acá les muestro el sencillo paso a paso.
Hello, fellow craft lovers! I hope you're having an excellent weekend. Today, I want to show you the cute pens I decorated with a Venezuela theme. A few days ago, Chris had his project closing ceremony, which covered many topics about Venezuela: national symbols, typical costumes, agriculture, livestock, etc. My Chris had to speak about the national symbols, and I already shared here the lovely suitcase I made for him (which, by the way, was donated to the school). It turns out that the day before the presentation, the teacher told us we should prepare a small gift for the five judges attending the event. No one in the group chat said anything or reached an agreement, so I went to the supermarket and bought some pens with the intention of decorating them after seeing some ideas on Pinterest. Here is the simple step-by-step process.
Vamos a comenzar marcando en una hoja el corazón. Para hacerlo lo más parejo posible, lo que hice fue doblar la hoja a la mitad, marqué la mitad del corazón y luego lo recorté; al abrirlo estaba el corazón completo, el cual luego dividí en tres partes que serían los colores de la bandera.
We’ll start by tracing a heart on a piece of paper. To make it as even as possible, I folded the paper in half, drew half of the heart, and then cut it out. When opened, I had a full heart, which I then divided into three parts representing the colors of the flag.
Recorté las partes y comencé a marcarlas en cada foami de acuerdo a su color para luego recortarlas.
I cut out the pieces and began tracing them onto each piece of foam according to its color, then proceeded to cut them out.
Una vez tenía todos los pedazos, los coloqué encima del foami negro para seguidamente remarcar el corazón un poco más grande, de manera que al pegar el corazón tricolor quedara un borde negro.
Once I had all the pieces, I placed them on top of the black foam to trace a slightly larger heart, so that when I glued the tricolor heart on top, it would have a black border.
El siguiente paso es pegar la cinta tricolor alrededor del lapicero.
The next step is to glue the tricolor ribbon around the pen.
Luego de pegar con el silicon cada bandera sobre el foami negro y recortarlas todas, el siguiente paso es, con ayuda de un esmalte de uñas blanco, hacer las estrellas para luego pegar cada corazón en la parte superior del lapicero.
> After gluing each flag onto the black foam and cutting them all out, the next step is to paint the stars using white nail polish. Finally, I glued each heart to the top of the pen.
Y así quedaron 🥰🥰. La verdad me encantaron; al final formaron parte del detalle para los jurados y la maestra. Aparte, otras dos representantes llevaron galletas y armamos la mesa al final 🥰.
And this is how they turned out 🥰🥰. I truly loved them! In the end, they were part of the gift for the judges and the teacher. Additionally, two other parents brought cookies, and we set up the table together at the end 🥰.
