In the midst of a dense forest filled with whispers of leaves and shadows of sunlight that penetrate the gaps between the tree canopies, there I found a tiny creature that seemed to be a living ornament among the bushes and grass, its small but detailed wings reflecting a soft nuance full of elegance, it is Everes lacturnus which is a beautiful butterfly species from the lycaenidae family that captivated my gaze in the quiet forest.

Its appearance is truly graceful, with a tiny body no bigger than a fingernail, but behind its small size lies an extraordinary charm, the color of the upper wings shimmers with a metallic blue that changes according to the angle of the light creating a visual effect that is almost impossible to describe in words, while the color of the underwings is more earthy, namely pale gray with a fine dot pattern, a color that can help them camouflage among dry leaves and mossy trees, the contrast of the upper and lower parts of their wings is a perfect blend of beauty and natural protection.
